Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Is it rough? Absolutely. But does the dev seem to care deeply about this and is always actively working to make it better? Yes. I wouldnt recommend this game if you are looking for a polished experience, but if you are looking for a EA game with a seemingly caring dev to watch the game go through its phases and improve over time, at $15 yea its probably worth.

It is very much a "fine, I'll do it myself" in regards to the type of game it is and I vibe with that. Definitely has that feel as though it might have been a final project for school. I know this is a solo dev so take some of my input with a grain of salt. What I enjoyed: [*]Combat isn't too bad overall and can be very satisfying if working right though as others have mentioned, it is pretty janky. You can punch a dude a mile away and teleport in his face to end him with your laser sword fists. You can also do that to a rhino as well if you feel so inclined. Also ripping through a bunch of attack choppers and tanks was satisfying. And hey, when you run into some strong enemies they can actually ragdoll you across the continent which seemed pretty fair given your power in general. [*]Flying is very fun and simple to maneuver, you can even start flying at warp speed to zip across space (though it is not so open, definitely has a "zones" feel to it for each level). [*]Variety of skills and power ups to unlock or find. Eventually you can power up and get your super saiyan on followed by blowing up a planet when the mood fancies you. The maniacal laughing when you ready the equivalent of a "death ball" was a fun touch. [*]Lots of different equipment to wear, interesting "Energy" system which involves absorbing different elements (rocks, trees, animals, entire suns) to unlock boosts to your stats. What I didn't dig so much and can use improvement: [*] The jank is real. [*] The UI is kinda rough in general. Definitely has that 90s-early 2000s feel. In-game menus are bare bones basic, very little in ways of confirmation and missing a lot of little nuances and quality of life features that are expected in modern day games. Simplest example I can think of is equipping gear. You click equip and sure it equips, but there's no sound notification or real confirmation. A small issue, sure, but there's a lot of little things like that. [*] I personally think it's excusable given that this is done by one dude but there are very few custom assets from what I can tell. Going from weird medieval fantasy to suddenly being surrounded by people in button ups and jeans or astronauts and roman soldiers is fine but it all feels very copy/paste and disjointed. [*] Lighting is pretty meh when it gets dark and you aren't really given some sort of light source like a lantern or whatever. I just spammed the power up to light up a room or the area around me (sometimes the light particles would get stuck which worked for me but obviously wasn't intended). [*] Enemies glitching underground or getting stuck was pretty commonplace. Probably has something to do with almost everything being destructible. [*] Look, I don't need to "follow the bouncing ball" but when I complete an objective, I'd like it to complete and not glitch out forcing me to talk to the same NPC 3-4 times. I kinda didn't know where to look sometimes and a "journal" or "quests" menu with completed/active quests would have been stellar. Interacting with characters was probably my least favorite thing as I wasn't sure it was going to actually work. Quest markers would get stuck often, I didn't realize I had done something prior so I wasted a day trying to find something that was already done. [*] This is entirely a personal preference but I get highly annoyed with games that force urgency or give me a count down, especially in open world games. I get it, it's in the title, but 30 days to mess around in the world seems more viable and I felt I had to try to rush everything in the current day/night cycle. [*] The base building or what have you felt kinda thrown in? To be dead honest, there's quite a bit of that and I also kept getting hints about item combination and crafting but I never unlocked it either. This is probably the most I've ever written for a review but I think this has so much potential and ticks all the right boxes for me. I love the constant "oh this seems cool let's put it in the game" but it pulls away from other aspects to the overall game. Jack of all trades, master of none kind of deal. It's like, juuuuuust on the cusp of hitting that sweet spot but needs more attention and work done. Plenty of people dig your game and want to support, my dude, and I think putting together a team to smooth out some of the weak spots would greatly improve your game (or whatever your next project may be). I appreciate experiencing your game and looking forward to whatever you got coming down the pipeline!

Game is good so far hovewer there is a lot of bugs and I had to replay the first 30 minutes of the game because I killed Muda. But the game is good feels like elex 2 with the graphics and story Edit : So Day 9 and I cant finish the game because I am a bit too underleved yes its my fault but I couldnt finish like 5 quests because of how buggy the game is. Is it still a good game despite the bugs? Yes Would I recommend this to anyone? Not in its current state.

TL;DR - Neat Idea, but at the moment this feels like a slapdash of unreal assets and systems that were put together as the dev learned them. There's something here to keep an eye on, but realistically at time of this review not worth the current price. -- The idea behind this game is actually fairly neat. Travelling a landscape however you see fit to prepare for a climactic showdown. Finding gear, rare skills and world busting powers to stop the end of the world in a set amount of time. A shame that the game itself barely seems to be cohesive enough to pull it off. I'm not going to mince words: this is a B-Game; a mishmash of assets barely working together as intended. Everything kind of functions, but not cohesively. The UI and gear system seems like they are from a sci-fi looter shooter, with some equipment remaining under their raw format file names. The combat, at least during my playtime, seemed to work and felt very good- until I had to go into tight corridors and sent enemies clipping into the walls. The environments and NPC's seem to vary wildly for no reason. You can be in an ancient medieval castle with dirty robed peasants standing next to futuristic neon-clad cyber guards 5 minutes after dealing with the flying monks in their weirdly Halloween-esque sky temple. Still I want to leave this with with a recommendation as I have a weird soft spot for B-Games with a bit of flair and ambition to them. While some of the jank will be hard or impossible to fully resolve, if the Dev keeps working on this I feel like this could be something fun down the line.
