For the amount of time I spent in the game the cost is worth it. I would rather spend a premium price on a idle game like this, then play a free one with a ton on in-game monetization. I won't complain too much about about ending falling flat, I thought it would build up to something. But for the cost, I'll overlook it. Many unique environments to "idle." And works well enough on steam deck. Worth the price even without a sale.
It's alright It looks pretty and has a story It doesn't live to the premise of being an idle game with puzzles tho; it's kinda barebones to be honest At least it's pretty respectful of your time, everything unlocks fast; there's no legacy/ascension bs, which is nice since most idlers got the wrong lessons from Cookie Clicker and turn themselves into the slowest grindfest ever Really nothing new in there, but it's not bad
This game is an amazing background game, it's got everything a basic incremental has, a major bug I've run into recently and I lost my entire playthrough to is that it doesn't have auto saves, main menuing saves the game obviously, but lets say something like "Oh my power went out suddenly" Well there goes your entire save file, those 3 hours are gone now and I no longer feel the confidence to even play it anymore, please devs if you see this review can you take a look at this bug and implement auto saves? I realized my 3 hours were gone when I went to enter my save like normal, suddenly getting the waking up to who you are menu, I would be more pissy if I lost lets say 20+ hours, but I'm glad I experienced the bug early on into gameplay. I would highly recommend this game if you need something running in the background though, it's easy, fun, and reliable to itch that need to have something going on at all times. Overall: 8/10 PS. Auto saves please!
