I don't like multiplayer games so much. I'm more of a single player guy, but I took the plunge on this game because of all the positive press it has been getting. And they weren't wrong. This is a very fun MP game. What I like about it coming from a single player mindset is that you can actually play this single player and have still have fun in a multiplayer world. More so, in fact. As a single raider, I had to sneak around firefights and patrols. It was pretty intense and felt like I was in the world of Terminator, scavenging for survival. I was practically crawling through dilapidated warehouses and buildings searching for loot, sometimes picking pieces off dead corpses. When I did see other players, I kept my distance. I felt like I was really struggling to survive. And not all player encounters were bad. In fact, some players even helped me along the way. This game makes for some great experiences. So as a single player preferred person, I would definitely recommend it. It's not perfect: some levels look too pretty to be post-apocalyptic, the loot can be overwhelming, and the progression can be slog at times. But overall, this is a fun experience that should keep you entertained for a long time.

Playing solo's for some reason the community is really nice and not always pvp. Playing Duo/Trios bro its on sight at any given moment everyone wants blood.

Visually stunning, fun, and immersive - an amazing game overall. About 7 out of 10 of my solo runs end up with me teaming up with random players for quests, puzzles, or fighting harder Arcs. Trio mode is more about PvP but still has plenty of friendly encounters. The game isn’t as punishing as other extraction shooters. You can jump in with a free loadout anytime to do quests or farm materials. You can extract while downed. You can be sneaky and just avoid pvp or dip out. (I recommend to get stamina talents) You can just team up with players and avoid pvp. If you have a key, you can use a hatch exit to avoid public extraction zones. Plus, your pet Scrappy provides free resources, so you’re never completely broke. AI robots are smart, dangerous, and really fun to fight — you just need to learn their weak spots and have heavier weapons. I spent my first 8 hours happily collecting fruits to upgrade my rooster Scrappy. 10/10 experience!

Chill game but also tense but also scary but also chill again :) ALSO Embark continue to show that they can support Linux players with proton and still keep cheaters out unlike other studios. Great studio. great game. what else can i say
