pretty solid little arena shooter than can run on even the jankest of pcs, good to pass a few spare minutes. one neat thing is that it gets more complex as the round goes on which i find a lot of similar games dont really do. pick it up if youve got 5 bucks lying around its good

I don't think the dev will see this, but I hope he does. Really good game for the price, just wish there was more. I would take a workshop at the very least. This game needs more weapons, maps, missions, really anything to increase longevity. I think a global leaderboard would be great for the main mission completion and endless modes.

I just want to start off by saying that the developer of this game, Egor Rezenov, is a great indie dev, he clearly cares about the game alot. Now onto the review itself: Armored head is full of action, you get put in a well made map with many hotspots. on my first run, I was amazed at how addicting the gameplay was, it reminded me of doom quite alot but there was something in the design that made it stand out a lot more. The game's weapons are all unique and have their own uses, for example the pistols make for great use early game where you mow down weak enemies and is a good way to conserve ammo, or take the flare gun for example, great for wiping out giant crowds and also just REMOVING everything in its path at the cost of a slow fire rate and limited ammo. What I'm saying is that the weapons are well crafted with each pointing to something else. Now we have basic gameplay, ammo drops are abundant and arent hard to reach, you can sometimes even be overstacked in ammo for some weapons! There are also these turret things all around the map, you dispense coins and they shoot a bunch of enemies, quite worth it. The movement in the game is also super clean, like it is very nice.. a double jump, a tool to dash and in general the movement is very smooth. The enemies are also a topic of discussion, as you begin your run you encounter weak enemies with a few bigger fellas, but later on its like they swarm you constantly and thats a GREAT thing. The enemies all have a nice design to them especially the bosses whom I adore the looks of. I'd also add that the game isn't easy nor hard, it purely depends on if you've played games like these before. Speaking of the bosses, they all have a nice design and some become regular enemies, take the ship for example, flying robots that release flying smaller robots, when you get first introduced to them they feel like the strongest thing you've faced, and then they become a usual enemy. Then there is the "tower boss" which has my favorite design and lastly the final floating mech boss which is a great end to the game. There is also an endless mode which is much more challenging but also extremely enjoyable, especially on the outside map which is fun to move around on. In conclusion I trhink Armored Head is a fun indie game with plenty of passion put into it and a fun character, I recommend you buy it as it is cheap and most definitely worth every cent or penny or whatever currency

An interesting game, the music is very fun to listen to while fighting the robots. Its quite cheap being only around £4, defiantly in this economy that is a massive plus and the game itself can be difficult but engaging and once you learn to go for the weak point it feels very rewarding as you go on and manage to destroy more robots quicker, its not too long so it doesn't over stay its welcome in my opinion and you get some good bang for your buck which is always good. I've encountered some bugs but nothing game braking and on the rare side as ive played around 4 hrs and only encountered 2 which was some clipping. Overall, good indie game.
