incredibly fun game, think hades but with a time limit twist. every upgrade to the character feels genuinely meaningful and not just there to be clicked on, the time limit function and ability to stop time feels gimmicky at first but gives the game a very neat distinction and can be used for really cool one shot the entire screen builds if you get lucky with your drops. the only negative thing is imo the difficulty, obv it's based on RNG somewhat, depending on what drops you get each run but with enough upgrades you fly through the game w/o any challenge until you hit the mode you unlock by beating the game the first time and then you're literally hardstuck until you get exactly what you need for your build. the negative is ofc a genre problem at large and not just limited to this game and therefore i will not count this as a deal breaker just something you should be aware of if you never played games like this. TL:DR worth? Yes
I would recommend this game a lot. (I 100% the demo which even had achievements and You should try the demo first, to get the feel for the game) Ive been playing on Zero difficulty and upto Multidimensional mode level 11 with meele build and it's very fun. Especially collecting item drops and getting stronger with every run. Especially want to point at one review named Raum who incorrectly paints the picture of how everything is unfair in the endgame. If you have problems in Act 3 already with lore-explained enemies which can bypass time-stop(rare mobs) for a moment, then it's more of a skill issue and failing damage check to kill them fast. Just play on easy difficulty then. Also sidenote - I do feel like there is few bugs as well but Im not sure if intentional or not, so did send bug reports.
This is a stunningly well done game with a very, very good difficulty ramp. There have been very few games that make me feel like how an anime series makes me feel like a room clearing bad ass, but this one has to be one of the best. Even with that thrill, the edge cuts both ways. Extremely fast, flashy yet methodical. It's really hard to give it an easy description, but if I had to, it's Hades but with a "time limit" & extremely fast anime girls with looter mechanics. DO NOT BUY THIS CLOSE TO BED TIME, you will stay up at minimum 4 hours without realizing it. I don't know how close I am to beating this, but I couldn't stop from putting 7 hours in the day I started playing. Plays good on steam deck at 60 FPS and syncs over to PC with no issue.
