incredibly fun game, think hades but with a time limit twist. every upgrade to the character feels genuinely meaningful and not just there to be clicked on, the time limit function and ability to stop time feels gimmicky at first but gives the game a very neat distinction and can be used for really cool one shot the entire screen builds if you get lucky with your drops. the only negative thing is imo the difficulty, obv it's based on RNG somewhat, depending on what drops you get each run but with enough upgrades you fly through the game w/o any challenge until you hit the mode you unlock by beating the game the first time and then you're literally hardstuck until you get exactly what you need for your build. the negative is ofc a genre problem at large and not just limited to this game and therefore i will not count this as a deal breaker just something you should be aware of if you never played games like this. TL:DR worth? Yes

!WARNING! Don't get the wrong idea, from what you seen in the trailer. You may think that this is your typical top down roguelite similar to "Enter The Gungeon" or "CINDERA" with time manipulation added to the mix, It's not.... The best way to describe this game is kind of like those ads, You know. The ones where a hero with a number above his head goes into fights enemies with a similar number to get stronger? It's pretty much that, but with 30 second timer and the ability to stop time. I definitely enjoy the game for what it is since it's so out of the box. But because It's really unique, your first experience going to be like drinking beer for the first time and then instantly getting a hangover... It gets better over time especially when you unlock more of the upgrades, But your first few runs are going to feel completely impossible, which is similar to most roguelites, But this one is a lot more brutal, since it's designed to have more of an emphasis on unlocking and powering up to progress. Since you start with not enough time or power to make any real progress. There's also this feeling that you can just tell that this was a mobile game at some point during his development, which is why some of the menus and gameplay feel really clunky. 6/10. It's an acquired taste, And there's definitely better options out there if I'm being honest...

I have been playing this entirely on the steamdeck and it works well on it. Starting out, I wasn't sure what to make of the game, it has an autoattacking thing like a survivors like, you have these orbs you pick up for experience and level hundreds of levels in seconds. You have 30 seconds of time to work with at first but this extends and also replenishes based on certain activities. You also get rewards at the end of a run based on your score, and can buy items at a shop, and eventually upgrade your character and unlock other avatars. You can also unlock more weapon and item slots to flesh out your build. In each run you also have a ton of tech chips(standard roguelite build progression choices) and time items that change how the time progresses, max time, and time regeneration in various ways. As time goes on, you can also upgrade the time machine in various ways to get significant bonuses, as well as you are rewarded for trying out every item at least once in passive rewards from a database collection individual. You also have gadgets which you can use to customize your abilities with a special attack, both temporary and permanent for 2 extra abilities, as well as something called a hyper attack which charges up and buffs your avatars special ability which activates when you leave time stop. Overall, I found this pretty fun and decently complex, the progression feels pretty fast, but it also feels great to play. Each avatar has their own star progression and special tech chips which are very potent for their niche. I like melee alot so I used the blossom blade avatar and just absolutely wrecked everything doing the stereotypical samurai lunge and slash from all of the animes and buffed it exceptionally high so it once shots entire rooms of enemies. So far, it seems really good.
