The art style is probably the first thing most people will notice, and it works really well. The old cartoon look gives the game a lot of character without getting in the way of the action. The penguins are expressive, the enemies are easy to recognize, and the animations add a lot of charm to every run. The music also fits the presentation with its jazzy, Cuphead-inspired sound. Some tracks can get stuck in your head pretty quickly, but overall the presentation gives it a strong identity that separates it from other roguelites
Very fun hockey like roguelite with great cuphead inspired music. Gameplay is very fun and satisfying. Has good and rewarding meta progression to make you stronger. Has a decent amount of characters with different built in abilities and different kinds of weapons you can use that each have their own type of playstyle. My biggest complaint with the game right now is the fact it currently only has 3 stages. However you can replay the 3 stages to advance up to I believe 15 levels in total in a single stage . With each progressing level you beat being more challenging than the last. Also the devs have already said they're currently working on bringing more levels and content. But I would of have definitely preferred if the devs released this as an early access game since that's what it is pretty much with the game being incomplete. Because I was under the impression before buying this game that the game was finished and complete but that is unfortunately not the case. Which understandably may or may not rub some people the wrong way. But regardless of that the game is still very fun and is only going to get better as the devs keep adding more levels and content. If you care about this game not being complete in content yet then put this game on your wish list and wait a bit until the devs add more content. But if you can look past that and want to play a fun roguelite and go for the achievements then it is worth it. I overall recommend this game even as is right now because I very much so enjoyed my time with it so far and can't wait to see it get even more better over time.
