I'm going to give a positive review for the simple reason I think the "Luck" stat was done brilliantly in this game. Rather than just increasing your critical chance (it does this too), all kinds of unique events happen that actually make you feel like you've got some blessing of the leprechaun. The nasty guy you couldn't beat with your DEX/AGI/PER etc. build? He grabs his heart and his eyes roll back. Things crash out of the sky and kill people. You get better at gambling (new vegas did this to be fair, where Wasteland 3 failed). Explosives malfunction. Enemies have friendly fire. It just feels a lot more fun than bonus evasion+crit.

i played this game for about 6 and a half hours and hated everything about it starting around hour 2. i played it again after finding a couple videos on yt that explained the very specific way to build my character in order to make the game playable. then i had a blast playing it for weeks. i don't know what any of this ultimately says about the game. nor do i know what it says about me. but the grass outside is calling. do whatever feels right for you.

A very good turn-based RPG that feels like a modern take on the classic Fallout games. It has great character customization, plenty of interesting quests and a lot of freedom in how you approach the game. If you enjoyed Fallout 1 and 2, this is definitely worth checking out. 100% steam achievements Time : 110,6H Completion Difficulty : 7/10 Playthroughs : 3 Missables : Yes - several achievements depend on specific choices/actions Guide Recommended : Strongly recommended Notable requirements : Pacifist run, Level 30 on esper difficulty without reveling your name, level 27 on survival difficulty with permadeath, and additional XP farming beyond normal progression.

They need to add the option to leave a "Neutral" or "Mixed" review. This game is super fun, challenging and creative. the dialogue and writing is great, even translated from Russian as it is. There are a few problems however that stop the game from truly being great. So far, I have not played a "raw" game. The learning curve is hard enough, so i added essential items and skills through the console. It is very hard, even with a mid-level character as i have. I'll list a few issues i have with the game *No crouching, in a game with a sneak mechanic i expect there to be some crouching... this one reminds me of the 'board game' quality and appeal. It just bothers me *Randomly while inspecting my characters, i noticed that the player character's weapon clips through whatever armor you're wearing. i am autist schizo so i guess that just really annoys me. it's a negative in my book, even though the game is isometric *if you aren't good or if your character is low level, it can be very easy to die and have to start all over, which is a double edged sword. I like high challenge, i just don't like weirdly broken combat. *game wouldn't let me heal in combat, but it lets enemy NPCS.... i feel that was an oversight on their part. *basically no clothes options aside from armor. the game starts you in either, a blue tank top, an army outfit and some odd sweater with reindeers on it. not the biggest deal as it is the apocalypse. *some skills are hard to level, the progression in this game is super weird and to be frank i don't know how people are playing this without console commands. *sometimes janky controls/combat *it's just in general hard to play this game for the first time *feels like there could be more features. it really plays like a Fallout inspired board game type deal. That's what i was looking for, you'll definitely notice though that the game focused on the SKILLS and if you are low skill, it's going to be a problem. i recommend console commands, they are easy to remember and will teach you how to play. the good things i have to say are that it is like a modern Fallout 1&2, without all the vaults and stuff, the UI and HUD are great and i like the Fallout Cursor for the mouse. Dialogue is creative and in depth at some parts. right now im torn between it being a 6.5/10 or a 7/10, because i really do like this game, i will probably put alot of hours into this one.

It's basically Fallout 1 and 2's forgotten Russian cousin and I mean that as the highest compliment possible. 9/10 Underrated gem. Your Steam library needs this immediately.
