I NEVER write steam reviews (first review on this account), and wow. Just wow. As an avid visual novel/otome enjoyer, I've played A LOT of these types of games and there's something so refreshing about this. The characters are insanely lovable and FUNNY. Like actually humorous and real(?) You can play as a female/male in this game, and while there are some minor differences, I do think it's more enjoyable to play it as the male MC ! It really feels like how a group of young men would joke and banter around... and the MC is so relatable - many of the characters in the game are especially with the way they speak. The dialogue is so refreshing and doesn't feel scripted? generic? like how some games can feel with the average MC in a visual novel game. There was definitely a lot of thought put into the world building too! The magic system is pretty unique by itself and the little quests you can do in the game are really fun to do - it really adds to the immersion. I love how your MC doesn't just feel like they were 'dropped' into the game, they really feel a part of the world since even the NPCs you interact with will have dialogue with/about you, and you get to learn more about the original MC too... which is relevant in the sequel: Royal Blood. (And holy hell, while the sequel hasn't come out yet, I've played through the demo and it's AMAZING. It definitely tackles darker themes than in this game, but I didn't think it was possible to like this game series even more than I already did). I'm a sucker for these kinds of interactive-exploration types of games, since it really reminds me of the Persona franchise and how you can do whatever you want after school! The romance between the characters and the MC (...Or each other?! With their very 'it's-not-homosexual-if-you-sleep-with-your-hb-with-socks-on' /pos homoerotic-platonic tension IT'S SO FUNNY I CAN'T.) are all really sweet! The boys are all green flags and the funniest part is the most toxic character being ... the original you LOL which is once again, refreshing to see. It's not necessary to romance them either, but learning their backstories, getting to know them adds on to the immersion! But really - it's the whole experience that makes this game insanely fun to play. Not to mention - the art. THE ART IS SO GOOD. And you're telling me ONE person made this entire game? That's insane to me because it's so well made and drawn, you can really feel the love that went into this game. 300 CGs of art is no joke. But yeah, if it wasn't clear enough already: I LOVE THIS GAME and I HIGHLY recommend it if you're looking for a humorous visual novel with insane amounts of replayability. I've spent SO much time on this and don't even get me started on Royal Blood. I could write a whole other review for Royal Blood, but I'll save that for when it releases! (I've also never subscribed to someone's patreon this fast before because i simply needed the content) Thank you Miss Xero for feeding us with this amazing meal :-) Please take your time for Royal Blood and take care of yourself first and foremost!!!

This game is A POWERHOUSE of visuals and artistic creativity! This game pulled me immediately into its world and narrative! I came expecting to just play a typical dating sim or otome, and then realized I was playing deep into an explorative RPG with side quests and one larger bridging story! I was enthralled! The game also lets you have any gender identity, and normalizes queer romance throughout its narrative. Rock on for the queer representation! The writing of the characters and world building of this game are brilliant, charming and never ever boring. It was genuinely hard to pick whom to pursue because the options were all compelling. I highly recommend making several saves along the way as there are SO many different love interests to pursue and choices you can make! Its actually interesting that despite how long and diverse this game is, that there are only 6 achievemants that are just based on the overarching stories outcome and not your romance necessarily. I was suprised by this. None the less, this story has fantastic replayability and was hard to put down! And lets you have less pressure to romance everyone if you don't want to. If you're ready for a fantastical and romantic narrative experience that keeps giving, than you won't regret playing this game!

I enjoyed this game, and am looking forward to the sequel. My only complaint, and this is only a personal preference, is that all endings share the same route. It made replaying for every ending a bit of a slog. I do appreciate the skip function as I have played some otome games that did not have that. The fact that the random side quests can have an impact on the main story was a surprise but a welcome one. I did play as both of the body types available, and I don't know if it is in my head or not, but I feel like some of the cutscenes for the masculine body was longer. It wasn't a big deal as I do not have a preference for what body type I played. But, I thought it was worth mentioning.

The art is a little... strange in places... so it gives me a mixed feeling. The story is engaging, interesting and well-written - especially with Io and Kor. The relationship aspect with the female is weird, but from what I heard it was not mean to be a hetro game just gay so I'm probably getting the bad end of the stick with wanting to romance as a girl. The "go to your room to bang" art is extremely weird as a girl to the point I'd have preferred the fade to black to save me the confusion. If you have no qualms, just be gay and play the guy route! The story just reads better. Overall, not bad - story is better than the art but that is a personal preference - the story is very much playing even if you aren't a fan of the art style

I love this game, i tried the demo before purchasing it, and i loved it. I love the story, there's so many endings, and so many to discover, you have to play through the story more than once to uncover many other scenes Disclaimer: i'm not a native English speaker, so sorry if my English is bad
