I heavily enjoyed this game and 100% everything it had to offer including colors, eyes, patterns, and species. About 10 hours of my gameplay was me having the game idle while I slept so that I could get better fish and move to my next prestige the next morning. The closer you are to the start the more active work the player has to put in. On my final prestige before ending the game I spent the time breeding fish for the final few colors I needed while the black hole grew to it's max size. However, the ending just being a screen that says the end was very anticlimactic.

The idler genre is getting a lot of titles, but most of them are fun until you realize the refund window is closed. I feel this game has some real thought behind it and is not AI slop like many of the current titles, but I have a few problems with it. The prestige system is fine, but you must unlock a few things to actually proceed, because if you don't, you'll get a maximum of 6–10 points to buy permanent upgrades. A lot of the upgrades feel useless as well. I think this could be easily solved if you had a prestige tree where, after unlocking a certain number of skills, you automatically unlock the must haves as well. This way you could play the game in the intended way and actually enjoy "starting over". Some might say this makes the game linear, but having multiple bad upgrades and only a few great ones does the same. The only difference is it makes the player angry after playing for hours and hitting the same plateau over and over. Otherwise, 8/10, would buy it again.

A cool clicker idle game. It's a mix of a humorous farming simulator and fishing. You need to breed fish, chase them into a black hole with rocks, and earn money for it. As you progress, you earn income and buy upgrades for your farm and new tools. To get more expensive fish, you need to fish in a special pond. There, you receive fish cards, which you can insert into breeding machines. The game is very fun, simple, relaxing, and addictive. Suitable for both adults and children. Time flies. It's fun to watch the fish get scared by the rocks and end up in the black hole.

I’ve only got a few hours in Black Hole Fishing, but yeah… I think this game has already consumed me. Fitting, honestly. At first I thought “haha funny space fishing game,” and now I’m sitting here willingly feeding everything into a cosmic void like I’ve accepted my fate. The gameplay loop is dangerously addictive—kept telling myself “last run” like a liar, and suddenly it’s 2am and my sanity is orbiting the drain. It’s got this weirdly chill vibe for a game about, you know, the inevitable collapse of everything into nothingness. Very relaxing. Very existential. 10/10 would doom-fish again. There’s clearly more depth the longer you play (unlike me, emotionally), but even in just a few hours I’m hooked. If you enjoy fun gameplay with a side of cosmic dread, this is absolutely worth it.
