What is Fish to Dish: Idle Sushi? In this game, you are sailing on a small little boat while you fish. Then you deliver the fish to the sushi bar and make and sell sushi! Quick Pros ✔ Strong visual style ✔ Detailed world design ✔ Relaxing game play Quick Cons ✘ Some mechanics poorly explained Initial Thoughts: -"Awee adorable art style." -"Is that a whale?" -"Okay that makes sense" Beginner Player Friendly? This game is beginner players friendly however does not seem to have a tutorial to explain what's going on. If you are a very new gamer in this gaming world, then an idle game is where you get to have the game running in the background while you do something, This game sits at the bottom of your screen while you watch movies are do work. Game Play: This game doesn't exactly feel like you 'idle' as a lot of the beginning of the game revolves around you upgrading and clicking to get money. So you upgrade, click to speed up your fishing, and make your chefs cook and serve to various guests. Graphics: The graphics are simple and look as though you walked into a world of pixels. I believe that this game could run on lower end systems with no difficulty. Community: The community all though small, is all very supportive and friendly. How long can you play? With games like these its very easy to pour hundreds of hours into it just from it being open on your computer. My Opinion: I love fish games in general, most of my library is fish and horse games if we are being honest. However, as a lover of idle games to have open while I watch movies, this one makes it easy. I think if you enjoy simple games that require low effort you may want to give this game a try. [H1] Fish to Dish: Idle Sushi 100-200+ hours to complete, Fish to Dish: Idle Sushi is a desktop idling game that sits in the bottom of your screen and doesn’t demand too much of your time and attention. There are five tabs that lead to five locations, your fisher that collects fish, a restaurant that turns the fish to sushi for customers and cats that you can decorate, a hatchery where you can breed fish if you need a lot of a specific type, an aquarium for your favorite fishies, and a shopping area to purchase upgrades and cosmetics. You can have a cat or dog help you collect your fish both at your boat and the hatchery, so no need to worry on personally clicking every type of fish to put them in your inventory. There are a total of six nice fishing locations, each with their own types and fish variants, letting you make various recipes or fill out the fish book for 100%. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3654780203 This game was my first ever desktop idle game, and it was a lovely experience. My biggest concern was that, since the game sits at the bottom of your screen it may interfere and cover the taskbar – but you can turn the water invisible or move your boat around on the screen, and zoom in and zoom out if you want them to be smaller or bigger. The pixel art was adorable and I ended up filling my aquarium with various types of Tuna fish, both Yellowfin and Bluefin. I didn’t experience any bugs or graphical glitches, and I’ll probably end up picking up another desktop idler in the future if they are all this simple and fun. This game manipulates me. I'm a very messy person by nature. My desk is my dumping zone for "Idk where to put this yet, I will put this here for now." I have plenty of games on steam. Ones that I enjoy, but i can't really use a mouse or keyboard if they are blocked by random trinkets I find on my worldly adventures in life. But I have to say it. Fish to Dish: Idle Sushi... Has tricked me into being cleaner, it has brought order to my desk life. I can just turn on the game while I'm cleaning my little home. When I return to find little fishies on my boat, I end up taking something away from my desk to put it up when I'm done clicking around for a few seconds. Without fail, I'm always excited to come back to the computer to find more little surprises! Now I actually enjoy other games more when I go to play because I don't have a bunch of crow-brained treasures all over the place distracting me with their pleasurable shinny qualities. Now I can focus and am actually way happier for it. It's also nice of course because you can be doing other things while it is running and it doesn't take up your whole screen. That is what sold me at first. Little did I know what it was gonna do for me lol. (note, if you wish to use it like I did, it has to be a reward system, you have to take something with you when you walk away then it feels even better when you walk back, no cheating you fellow ADHD treasure junkies) 10/10 would recommend to everyone
Great idle game. I bought it tonight, played over 4 hours and had to force myself to leave it and go to sleep. Relaxing game, but you always have something to do. Upgrading your tools, breeding fish, selling sushi, always earning money. Highly recommend! It took 305 hours to finish the achievements. I left it running instead of turning it off.
