No Means Nothing let us play as the victim of verbal sexual abuse, sexual assult and rape, with the important distinction that the player is a man. It's, for a lack of a better word, good to see that a man has shared his experience and shows how it can look like for men. Most men will not experience sexual assault or rape in their lifetime and therefore have a harder time understanding the dynamics and difficulties of sexual assult and rape, compared to women. Media like this can help break down that barrier and expose primarily men to the horrors of sexual assault and rape. Not one ending feels out of place. Every ending adds a message and shows how a story about a victim, being a male victim or not. At one i do hope that such games, that show sexual assult, rape and the such get more popular and that they will influence and change the discourse and how people actually think about senstive/taboo topics, at the other hand i hope for a future, where such games don't have to be made anymore and are a relic of the past, for future generations to look at be glad that such things don't or rarely happen anymore.

First of all, PLEASE read the content warnings for this game. They are and I cannot stress this enough 100% SERIOUS, there is very disturbing content in this game please proceed with caution. I was not prepared for how well this game was actually going to be, I've seen many games tackle topics of abusive/toxic relationships and sexual assault/harassment but never one like this. You can obviously tell (The creator literally tells us this is based on a true occurrence they have experienced) that this is a real story, it probably didn't unfold exactly like this but there are so many elements and pieces of dialogue that just make you feel so uncomfortable and grossed out you feel like you really are helpless and that you really need to fight to get out of this situation. There are 4 endings to this game, which are determined with this stat bar that gives you certain "conditions" based on what certain dialogue options you choose, the conditions are anger, willpower, submissiveness, stamina, and the abusers happiness. I think this is a good and interesting way of creating player choice and how that affects what goes down later on as the story progresses. The art in No Means Nothing is very well done, it goes with the uncomfortable atmosphere created and it depicts the abuser as what he is, a gross piece of sh*t. What's a really good detail is that when the player and the abuser are talking the dialogue sounds for us are regular typewriter-esque while his are a gross slimy noise. Something really special that this game does is that it doesn't leave us alone with the negativity/positivity after each ending, it gives guidance and hope no matter what ending you get, it always tells the player if they are struggling with things like this that it's okay to get help and to get out of that relationship. I think that's a very important message to convey clearly in games like this, and it is a message of hope and recovery that this game does an amazing job at displaying. Bober Bros have done an amazing job with this game and I am looking forward to playing more of their games in the future

If you're sensitive to themes of rape / sexual harassment, heed the content warning. No Means Nothing is a story about male-on-male sexual abuse / domestic violence and it does a great job of keeping you submerged in the anxiety and discomfort of being in the presence of someone who can't take no for an answer. The environments are run down, dark, and hopeless. Radek is slimy, uncomfortable, and deeply realistic in his sex pest-isms. It's a great conversation about consent, or lack thereof. Because of that, it absolutely sucks to play. Haven't played a game that makes me this uncomfortable in a long, long time. It's a great game, I hate it.

Sorting boxes is fun, I pride myself on being an efficient warehouse worker. I have my own ideas about the goods we're storing. Outside of work, the game is very unsettling and can feel a bit too real for my liking. My heart breaks for those who find this game relatable. Eff you, Radek, stay away.
