You live in a gloomy apartment and deal with daily issues involving a strange, noisy neighbor. As the days go by, the tension between you mounts, and a hole in the wall ends up revealing the dark side of things. A psychological thriller gem that rises above the massive wave of generic Fears to Fathom clones, which recycle silly stories and cheap jump scares. A game with personality and interesting camera angles that drives the story creatively and features a mature plot.
Wow. This game made me feel grossed out. Especially with the Epstein situation going on. It is a very serious work of art about child abuse and alcoholism so just if it's a sensitive subject for you it might be a bit more difficult to go through. Very impressed by the amount of work in this. Was quite speechless by the end.
Short but affective. This horror game is pretty short but not meant for everyone even though it has a message that everyone should see. The Hole covers some pretty harsh topics better than most exploitation films do, such as, I Spit on Your Grave, The Last House on the Left and A Serbian film, while not showing anything too graphic or explicit. That being said i can respect this game for the direction it decided to go with its story and how to get its message across. I love some exploitation films but they aren't good for proving a point, just entertainment. This game had the same power to shock and disgust as any of those kinds of movies can without having to show you anything and that alone is impressive. The only con to this game is the achievements are extremely broken so prepare to use SAM if none of these pop for you. For 3 dollars id recommend it for sure.
