I don't regret playing their first VN because it was a really solid and cool story, Mallory was a really sweet and kind character and the whole pandemic aspect was well put in the story. As a Visual Novel enjoyer, i add this one to the collection of the really sweet and good ones ! The artstyle is as always so pretty, the music were really good and did help to immerse me even more in the story... No seriously, i really recommend to give it a try ! It's really a good experience of reading, full of emotions and agriculture in our little life in the cabin ! Give it a try ! :D

Cabin Fever is a great example of what makes visual novels so good. The music is functional. The art is amateurish... except, oddly enough, the backgrounds, which are the epitome of comfy. The interface is the absolute basic of the basics. But this low cost of entry allows in a wonderful story from a creator who might otherwise not be heard from. I actually like the main character. For once, he's actually relatable. So many VN protagonists are either jerks, barely functional, or sometimes both. This guy isn't a bad guy, he's just socially isolated. Part of it, of course, is the extreme approach to social distancing, sort of a dystopian exaggeration of the experience of the early days of COVID-19. But you can tell he'd probably be at least somewhat distant from the people around him even without that. In away, he is thriving in the isolation, as so many of our sort did. The story is pretty simple, just a guy and a girl who, through circumstances I still don't know the details about (I'm around chapter 5 or so), come to share his cabin. His setup is an idyllic homestead, with all the details I'd expect in that kind of setup (garden, chickens, solar and wind power, rain barrels and a cistern, etc.) In a way, the aesthetic is kind of like what you'd find in something like Stardew Valley, only with more story and less gameplay. All in all, I'm glad I finally got around to playing this thing.

City slicker stumbles into a moody hermits bear trap and falls in love. Ok without the joking Cabin Fever was a super sweet and wholesome read if not a little sad with having 9 endings and only one being a good ending. I came a little late to read this, but I enjoyed how this is a story about a pandemic made during the Covid pandemic which really set the mood for everything. Mallory is just cute as a button and I really enjoyed her character along with the socially inept hermit of a main character. The art does not deviate much from the devs previous game crush crush, so I think it still looks nice. The voice acting itself is alright, but it is revolutionary how there is full voice acting for the player character. Cabin Fever is definitely a great read even with being a 2-3 hour long game and I can definitely recommend it with how sweet and wholesome the bulk of the story is.

I first Found out about our bubbly and bouncy Mallory from another one of Sad Pandas games, and she was so cute and fun I just had to track down the game she was from. OH BOY am I glad I did, This was a short experiences but honestly I felt more love from this then a full 12 series show. This was a story of chance meeting, bitter sorrow, and beautiful endings.

Oh wow what an great story. It features a young girl that was trapped in a bear trap, she befriends the guy who falls madly in love with her, she tries to take asprin for her sickness (vivid 22) which is getting worst........and the rest you will have to play to find out :) some story lines are very sad I wonder if Mallory ever found her sister? i would recommend this VN game 8/10
