Aiyooooo, what is this game lah? I buy **MY DESTINY GIRLS** because discount look cheap cheap. I think maybe play 30 minute, then go sleep. BIG MISTAKE. Next thing I know, sun come up already, fish market opening already, and I still sitting in front of computer talking to Chinese girls. ชีวิตพังหมดแล้วค่ะ. Story start and immediately many beautiful girls appear. Not one. Not two. MANY. Developer not believe in moderation. Developer see waifu and say: "YES." Every direction I look got another cute girl. I feel like auntie walking into wholesale seafood market. Too much choice. Brain cannot process. One girl cute. One girl sexy. One girl sweet. One girl make me question my life decisions. Another one make me forget fish price completely. โอ๊ยยยย. The girls all talking to protagonist like he some kind of handsome prince. Meanwhile I spend 15 minute trying remember my own email password. Very unrealistic. 0/10 realism. 10/10 entertainment. Chinese Girls are so nice I forget read dialogue. My gameplay become: Click. Look girl. Click. Look girl. Click. Fall in love. Very efficient system. The romance also dangerous. One minute I tell myself: "Just FMV only." Three hours later: "If anything happen to her I kill everybody in this room and then myself." Emotional damage level maximum. Music very nice. Relaxing. Comfortable. Perfect background for making poor life decisions. The story not trying become university thesis. Not trying explain meaning of existence. Just cute girls. Romance. Fun moments. Waifu energy. And honestly? Sometimes that all people need. After working whole day selling fish, arguing with supplier, checking prices, and suffering from reality... I come home. Open game. Cute girl smile. Blood pressure immediately improve. Medical miracle. Pros: ✔ many cute girls ✔ relaxing romance ✔ good waifu collection ✔ emotional support after bad day ✔ make lonely people temporarily happy Cons: ✘ too many best girls ✘ impossible choose route ✘ sleep schedule destroyed ✘ now comparing real life to visual novel ✘ fish stall almost not open next morning Final Score: 9.9/10 This game like Thai street food buffet. Everything look good. You tell yourself only try little bit. Then suddenly consume everything and regret nothing. ขอบคุณ developer. My destiny girl maybe fictional. But my happiness for few hours was very real.
I've played a few of these style of games, and this one stands out as above average. As usual, it portrays some of the "cliché" kind of girls and situations - I need not mention the different girls - but I really felt engaged by each of the actresses performances, making it interesting despite the familiar clichés. The production values are quite good, and there is even some cinematography good taste involved - some nice slow-mo shots with good ambiance, etc. I also feel the pacing is quite good: the game starts right into the action, scenes are not too short and also not too long - just the right pace. Great performances from the actresses in their different roles, as well. They were all pretty natural in their own styles, very enjoyable. There are many particular subtle moments with them in accordance to their personality - again, good, charming acting. I've finished one arc with one girl as my main, it took about 3.5h for that, and, of course, now I can pursue the other arcs with the other girls. Last but not least: the English subtitles are quite good. I spotted one or two errors / weird words - but 99% else is very good - unlike some other games I've played. In conclusion: if you are looking to explore a FMV game involving different kinds of girls and you want to explore every girl's arc, I feel like this is one the best titles I've encountered. PS: on a whim, many months after, just decided to have a second go at this game, after playing some others in the FMV genre. I got hit with nostalgia from my first playthrough, very nice, then I decided to try and focus on another character. It's holding up super well and it's nice to explore another character. After experiencing other games in the genre, I can safely say that the English subtitles here are pretty good considering the average I've seen. It's not 100%, but like 98%, where sometimes you get like 75%, which actually tarnishes the experience. So, as a take 2 of my review I can safely say this one is a good title in the genre and I recommend it.
This is the 3rd of this kind of FMV game I've played and this would be the 3rd in rank of them. Knowledge and Know Her, and Love Is All Around are both better imho. That is not to say this is not a good and fun game. The Girls are just wonderful and all played well and differently. The story overall was good. I feel like the directorship could have been a little better. More reactions from the girls that were not chosen in any decision, that kind of thing. Yes, the translation is not the best. Okay, even worse than that, but I got the jist of it most of the time. It could have used a real English speaker to do the translation. Overall, 8/10.

Think mobile app energy but made for PC, with a surprising level of sincerity and polish. I unironically enjoyed it! 💝 Pros: [*] Surprisingly endearing performances that carry the whole experience. The game lives and dies by its cast—and luckily, the cast delivers. The actresses feel like they actually enjoy their roles, creating a relaxed and watchable chemistry. There's no awkward stilted line reads here; instead, the characters often feel like a group of charming girls you'd actually run into in a Chinese romance drama. It gives the game a surprisingly sincere vibe, even when it's simple. [*] Strong diversity in character archetypes means everyone has a “best girl.” You’ve got the bubbly gamer girl, the cool and aloof doctor, the wholesome crush-next-door, the feisty rich girl, the soft-spoken professional type, and the sunshine-filled childhood friend. It leans into stereotypes, yes—but they’re fun stereotypes, and the game clearly knows what it’s doing. Each girl has her own aesthetic and personality quirks, which gives some incentive to replay, especially once you find “your type.” [*] Low-pressure, feel-good pacing that suits the format. You don’t need to make hard choices, follow flowcharts, or worry about missing trophies. It’s mostly a linear experience with some unlocking based on your progression, but that actually works in the game’s favor. [*] An approachable price and runtime that fits into a weekend. For under $10 and about 2-4 hours per route, I thought the cost/value ratio was great. [*] Good English translation! Usually, FMVs are sort of hit-or-miss, but I only spotted a few typos and awkward phrasing. Most text was understandable and translated well. ⛔ Cons: [*] Completionists might get frustrated by unclear progress tracking. While casual players won’t mind, those trying to see every “hidden” scene or might find themselves clicking through familiar dialogue with no clear idea what they missed. There's a lot of stuff to see.
