I had read CMS 2014 was "obsolete" and not worth buying. So I bought CMS 2021 instead, and found it a bit difficult to figure out. I then bought CMS 2014 and am glad I did. It's a lot easier to figure out, the tutorial is better, and on top of that I got it on sale for only $0.98, and the 2 add-ons are included as well. The movement (WASD) is a little wonky, but that's a minor thing. Recommended if you like simulator games. btw, the Demo is not very good, is a bit buggy, and lacks the tutorial. Just buy the game while it's on sale.

So my journey in Car Mechanic Simulator 2014 has come to an end. I want to say that this is the very first game in the series, but it is well executed. Many people say that this is just a "clicker" and not a game. But it is with this game that I recommend starting to get acquainted with the CMS series, especially if you still do not understand the design of cars and their details (there are much fewer of them here than in CMS 2021). However, there is one drawback — learning is not always clear what to do. The career in the game is well thought out, there are only 76 orders in it, which introduce you to each stage of car assembly and disassembly. This is enough for several dozen hours of play. I would like to mention the interface, the convenience of the structure and navigation. It would be better if you could buy several parts at a time, rather than clicking on each one and buying. I would also like the search for details not to require scrolling the page from beginning to end. As for the errors, I came across one — you can remove one part when you need to remove another to disassemble it. In general, the game is worth the money, it's a pity that there are no achievements.

A good casual 'Dad' game. It is what it says on the tin - its about fixing cars. Take jobs to find and fix problems, make profit and then use that profit to improve your workshop and eventually buy and refurbish your own cars. Initially the challenge of finding the problems and learning how to fix them is interesting but eventually becomes a grind. Buying a completely trashed vehicle, stripping it back to the shell and then completely rebuilding it with pristine parts has a certain joy to it, especially when you have collected all your favourite vehicles. This is game is best played whilst doing something else, such as watching videos on the second monitor or listening to a podcast, it in no way will occupy 100% of your brain, but is a chill way to relax and unwind. There isn't a huge amount of game here and not a lot of replay value where there are more recent versions of the game out, so get it on sale.

This car mechanic is way more simpler than the other car mechanic versions, its still a bit fun tho its a bit glitchy and it breaks when you have other tabs open on the background. Just be careful with some orders like the 4x4 DLC where you need to SPECIFICALLY put the new parts on the red areas, if you dont then you wont be able to proceed the next mission. but overall good game for those old folks.. but i recommend the other game versions
