Leaving a bad review just because Chill Pulse is simpler than Spirit City: Lofi Sessions makes no sense to me. I'll always pick Chill Pulse; it's supposed to help you focus, not bombard you with stuff just to scratch the brain itch. I recently bought it and honestly it's been a huge help. I can focus better on my studies and it really calms down the ADHD monkey brain. The songs are great, some help me stay in the zone, others are perfect for breaks because they're a bit more catchy. You can also turn them off and leave just nature sounds in the background, which is really nice. I've also been making progress on my book since I started using it and that is truly shocking for me. It actually helps me form a routine and stay consistent and somehow it tricks my brain into this because I see it like a game that I like to play, so it's like a quest. I love the cozy graphics, the interface which is very easy to use and the Pomodoro timer with the alarm is super helpful, together with the calendar and to-do list. Oh and the letters! Sometimes I send one and the replies make me giggle, it's such a cute touch! Thank you for creating this. ♥

TLDR: 1. This is not a game, this is a tool for performance for ADHD subgroups. 2. For the correct person this is a total Steal! This is not a game, this is a tool of a similar caliber as Word, Teams, VS Code and such, but for a specific demographics. I have been poking into my ADHD nature for some time and found that there are multiple issues that I can benefit addressing and multiple are solved by this. 1. There is task automation. There is a todo list that has 30-ish characters. This seems restrictive but it means that tasks Must be small and well thought out. Which is exactly why mostly todo lists don't work. People add wrong tasks that are not easy to fulfill. From my experience this keeps this todo list relevant. 2. Common issue I have is motivation. I will forget all I did and I will not get the momentum to tackle big tasks. Keeping completed tasks both on screen and in diary helps tremendously. 3. The Automatic pomodoro timer is awesome. A common issue with ADHD is unmaintainable focus. Either too little or too much. If I have a guide that keeps the clock and makes visual and vocal reminders of "Work" and "Stop", it helps maintain high performance for longer time. 4. The feature of body doubling in home office. It was a problem of mine that in home office I would just not work because there was nobody else there working. Now there is. As stupid as it sounds, this is enough for my brain to say "I need to work because there are others working" 5. Diary option is awesome. You can have multiple and they are stored in cloud. 6. Sticky notes. They are in one place and you will not forget where they are. 7. All these things are in one place. Funny thing. If you look at an online diary pricing with cloud backup and synchronization like Penzu, they are 10E per year. Todo utilities are another 10E. If you would split it into subscriptions, you would pay this games price every few months. And for me the return on investment in form of performance was in order of hours at most. Issues that would be nice to have: - The todo list has no cursor navigation and shortcuts like "CTRL + Backspace" (which deletes a whole word) are not implemented. - The todo list could have a little more character. Maybe 2 lines but not more. And some configuration like reordering of tasks and possibly also automatic ordering or completed task deletion. I do prefer that the tasks stay but not all will. - Different companions would be nice. Just to change the coworker every now and then. In a paid DLC is totally ok. - Sunny weather or location would be nice. It's weird to have a coworker having snowfall when there is 34 deg C outside :D. - Don't know how possible this is but it would be great if it could be glued to a certain monitor when you move your desktop on windows (shortcut Win + D), ideally as a Setting option. - A visual pomodoro timer would be a nice possibility. Like a sand hourglass or cook stopwatches that have a red and green portion or something similar. Don't be afraid to make new content in DLC that is paid. This tool is soooooo worth the money.

I have ADHD and chronically procrastinate, be it playing video games when I shouldn't or watching videos when I should be working on something. This game functions as a stop gap to that since my brain just realises it's stupid to have two Steam games running and the music is a constant reminder I should be doing something while focus mode is running. It's simple and easy to get in to. The only recommendation is simply allowing us to import songs of our own. Currently there are manual workarounds but just letting us have some of our own music would be amazing. Beyond that, this mini-"Coffee Talk but for Focusing" game is helpful and charming. A steal at its price considering what it gives back.

The app itself? Awesome and chill. My only ick with it is i wish i could play other music i choose off the internet or youtube, dont get me wrong, the apps music is good, but after a couple of times, it becomes so repetitive, i wish i could pick my own music and upload it to the app. Otherwise, great app.
