This is the anti-souls-like you've been looking for. Tired of patterns, precise timing, and pinpoint strikes? This game basically just wants you to smash everything, all at once, all the time. And... to be fair... its glorious. The game has some really awkward controls that take time to get used to.... but it's also the most smashy fun I've had in a combat game like this in some time. Your main weapon attacks aren't even the highlight, though they are fun... but there's also a type of grapple you can use on enemies as well as a spartan kick. And oh my goodness... do I have fun with the spartan kick in this game. You can kick enemies around, or you can kick enemies into enemies, or you can kick barrels into enemies, or you can kick enemies into barrels, or enemies into rock piles.... etc etc. If you jump and grapple an enemy you can slingshot them flying away. The combat here is a ton of fun. It does take some getting used to, especially the camera... there's some awkwardness to the way you move the camera and the way it wants to move based upon your character facing... but once you get used to it, it works out fine. One warning though... this is a multiplayer game, through and through. Single player here was an afterthought, if even that. It may advertise solo play... but that's kind of a veneer in my opinion. I would recommend to anyone who wants to play co-op to try this game out... but for solo play, like I do.... it's fun but may not hold your attention for a long time because the scenarios really are set up in much more of a "friend slop" style. The characters look great, the progression systems are simple but effective, and the graphics in the game generally are wonderful. The animations are good. The music could be a bit stronger, but it's good enough. Ultimately I'm glad I picked this game up, though I would put a warning label on it that it is really and truly designed from the ground up to be specifically for co-op and not really the best single player experience.

The core gameplay loop has been a blast. You head out, fight enemies, return to your base, craft what you can, and sell everything through a storefront that is fully run by your staff. Combat feels smooth and fast paced, while the shop management side is slow, relaxed, and cozy, creating a really nice balance between intensity and downtime. I also like that gold is used to upgrade your character, while a separate currency is dedicated to base upgrades. It helps keep progression feeling structured and rewarding. As for the negatives, there honestly are not many so far. It is an early access game, so it is understandably light on features. The gameplay loop is solid, but it could definitely benefit from additional building types to add more variety. I am also still unsure about the purpose of the extra building. From the lore, it seems like it used to be a shop, but right now I mainly use it to store minion houses and staff upgrades. I am hoping that is intended, since shop related items seem to need to fit within the grid. The building itself is massive, though, and beyond cosmetics it feels underutilized. I would love to see it gain another function. Another small issue is that I have ended up with an excess of flutes after maxing out those workers. It would be great to either allow more staff members or provide an alternate use for flutes. Maybe additional stat upgrades for existing staff would work well. Overall, this is a really fun game that has fully captured my attention. It blends the feel of several of my favorite games, with strong Zelda vibes and a shopkeeping style similar to Teddy’s Haven. It is cozy in all the right ways, while the combat keeps everything exciting and rewarding.

Very good vibe to this game. Crafting is fun, the world so far seems well fleshed out. The players and abilities are satisfying. I think this game is a banger, price point is reasonable, they're already working on items the community has flagged as the most important. Bought the game, and the supporter pack. Very well-made game. There are some bugs, not enough to deter and certainly not game breaking. If I found myself in an absolute pinch, the suicide from the menu is an option and then a friend can rez. Great job, looking forward to continued development!

Overview: I miss games like these. A game that doesn't expect me to make it my whole life, a game that doesn't want all my disposable income, a game that's just fun to play. And it is very fun to play. Exploring, fighting, leveling, mastering abilities, it's all very fun and rewarding. It looks gorgeous, I'm having a blast. I will happily play the game the whole way through and consider that money and time well spent. Combat: This is a combat system that you can get very good at if that's your thing and the results will be impressive. I think you can also just find some broken combos and spam them to victory. Think Dark Souls meets Looney Tunes? But in a good way. Visuals: I think this game looks great. Vibrant and colorful, I frequently find myself just jumping around to look at stuff. I really appreciate art design that picks a strong style and leans into it. It doesn't need to be hyper realistic, and I don't need to heat my house with my graphics card. Story: I've mostly avoided it because I am easily distracted. There's probably a box behind that waterfall in the distance so the gods I need to rescue will have to wait a bit. In the tradition of Diablo II there's story you can hunt for if you're so inclined, but for most, it's just enough to get you to the next fight. Wrap up: Just get it. It'll be 20-40 hours of good old fashioned fun. Not FOMO induced grinding by obligation but a game that you can play because the act of doing so makes you happy.

I would say you should give it a try. Is is well made, looks amazing and plays very smooth. But be warned this is not full open-world game as you have hub island and tp to other islands to explore. Also customization and immersion a bit lacking as you don't have much to equip. Also class weapons don't show on your character unless you fighting, in all other animations like jumping, running and etc, weapons do not show. Also catgirl does have cat ears, but no cat tail sadly :c Game not really for me as it is instanced open world and no immersion with visible equipment. So playing solo is really boring.
