Really great game. Minimalist graphics, bouncy-chill music. I enjoy this take on the rougelite and think it's overall well polished and worth its full price. I waited until the promised Ice Cream World update to review and am glad I did--it's hella fun and the QoL updates that came with it are helpful. No complaints with this game whatsoever. Love it.

This game is simple but very fun and relaxing. The levels are challenging enough the first time through, without ever being annoying or too stressful. And you can replay it endlessly with different recipe combos and caravan layouts.

It's a bit easy for a game in its genre, but it knows what it is and delivers fully. Excited to try out ice cream in November, but as it is, it's a bit scant for things to do once you've unlocked all of the recipes (unless you care about achievements). I think I got my money's worth, especially considering there's more coming. If you're not very good at time management games, get it at any price, the developer's price point is, in my opinion, right on for a game of it's scale. If you're quite good at them, or are interested in grinding out achievements, maybe wait for a small price reduction, as it's fairly straightforward and easy enough to complete both available campaigns. And if you're having trouble completing either of the campaigns, here's a very simple tip to help you out: it is always worth it to have fewer types of cups. Pick up more advanced recipes which share cups, rather than picking up a bunch of easier ones that use different types.

I love this game. It is super fun and challenging. I play it on cozy mode because normal is intense. I also love that there is a tea world, because I'm more of a tea person. I wish there were cats along with dogs. I'd love a cat in my tea world. I can't wait for the ice cream update.

Bought it because it looked similar to PlateUp! and I love that game and played it a lot, so I thought I'd check it out. Here are my thoughts on Coffee Caravan as a seasoned PlateUp enjoyer: The theming and gameplay work on a basic level and are fun. The game is cozy and the foundation definitely is there. The game brings some fresh but ultimately undercooked (see what I did there?) ideas to the table, which I'm gonna delve into now: The map serves no mechanical purpose at all but is just there to be there. It's filled with things that gain no benefit from being map-based: The treasures are just some free money or items from the shop, you get more money by just playing a stage, and any furniture you need you can just buy in the shop anyway. Being on the topic of the shop, it could just be enterable after every round, or every few rounds, but having it on the map adds nothing to it. Choosing routes is rendered totally pointless as doing customer rounds always gives more money than a treasure, so you just always maximize the route with the most customer rounds. Treasures are never worth it. The modifiers also have no reason to be on the map but could just be given to you after some rounds. Ultimately I really love the idea, but the fields to be entered are all meaningless. Maybe give legendary items in the treasures, not obtainable in the shop, and add events to the question mark fields to add some flavor. In its current state, it's just a nice idea, but they came up with nothing useful to do with that idea. The different customer types seem nice at first but ultimately don't serve a purpose; they are functionally the same towards the player as you serve all customers as quickly as you are able to, so it just comes down to different models - some walking fast, some agonizingly slow. That's it. My by far biggest pain point is the same as with PlateUp: being forced to pick up furniture with your player character to move them around manually is insanely annoying, tiring, and cumbersome, especially if you expect me to reposition everything regularly when advancing a stage! PlateUp has become unplayable for me without the mod that lets you pick and place with your mouse instead. This game DESPERATELY needs that feature (just like PlateUp, *cough*). I'm literally sitting 20 cms right in front of the perfect tool to place things, just please let me use it. When interacting with a workstation and focus switches to another workstation, the progress is frozen even if you come back to it, which makes gameplay feel less fluent and prohibits you from coming up with nice corner-based setups in which you swing back and forth, pick things up and place them down and keep X pressed all along. Not sure if it's a bug, in that case please fix it, or a feature, in that case please rethink. The game is very easy. I'd definitely recommend playing on hard mode if you are experienced in similar games. In it's current form its more of a 6.5/10 but with a lot of potential to turn into something great. I'd reccommend if it looks fun to you and you've played PlateUp before. If you have not - get PlateUp instead.
