I loved this game and will definitely play again in the future. I've always been a major fan of Mega Man Zero so this is a major hit of nostalgia for me. Loved the boss fights and the time they give to flesh out Ekko's character. The mechanics take a bit to learn but once you do it feels so rewarding. I've never seen a rewind implemented better in a game. quick note, the hardest difficulty was too easy once I locked in and learned all the controls and timing.

For those who, after watching Arcane, are craving more of the League of Legends universe but don’t want to play that goofy-ahh game — Convergence is a must-play. The story, although different from the one in the show, is still great, and the voice acting (at least in the Polish version) is really solid. Definitely a game worth recommending!

9/10 - Temporal Fun! Convergence is a very fun game, really smooth game play with incredible combo options with all the abilities and skills unlocked! The only issue I had was with some of the flying kamikaze enemies that would cause me pain stun locking me in hordes... but you can always overcome any combat issues with the rewind mechanics! I would almost categorise this as a Metroidvania considering how you can unlock new abilities and skills that let you access other areas you couldn't get to before, but thankfully there wasn't too much backtracking in areas you had already been. As a long time League of Legends fan, this is another thoroughly enjoyable game making use of Runeterra's incredible lore. The story is it's own spin off with no real ties to the canon lore but it's enjoyable as both a League fan or someone with no knowledge about League. Some great use of champions within the game like Warwick, Jinx and Camille especially. Ekko being the star of the show is masterfully executed making full use of all of his abilities from League that makes sense in this game! This point is even more noticeable with each champion's theme being remixed into a lovely background ost. Very worth picking up and playing!

Beautiful game - had a charming story with zero wasted dialogue. This story was the biggest drawing point for me, I would stay up as late as I possibly could playing the game because I wanted to see what was next, or what new surprises awaited me. Mechanics were great too - fights could drag on for a little while at times, and figuring out the pattern for beating enemies could make them slightly repetitive, but as the game dragged on encounters began to get increasingly complex, and demanding I use all the tools in my arsenal. This game made me happy, and I am grateful it exists the way it does.

alright game, rest in peace riot forge; one of the few good things this shithole of a company had edit: backtracking is very annoying in this game. you have to reopen every door and refight every mob room. i recommend getting the gadged that shows you every collectible asap so its less painful once you finish the game. there is also no fast travel. on top of that you need to actually farm A LOT of the currency to purchase every single item for the achievements. also jinxs area is obnoxious af (ofc it is fk jinx)
