Dev should spend more time in UI and QoL, for example, - Ctrl + click to remove item from toolbar instead of dragging from bottom to crafting menu. - More item to see in crafting menu. - Simple hint when you have unused item (for the 1st time), you can DISASSEMBLE it 😂 - idk, this game is just old but you guys need to give more attention for things like this

A masterpiece of a loop, ruined by a greedy DLC strategy. RECOMMENDED (But only on sale!) The core gameplay is a 10/10, but the business model is a 2/10. I am giving this a thumbs up because I have spent so many hours enjoying it, but please read the full review before buying. The Dwarf Loop is Addictive Endless Replayability What keeps me coming back to Craft the World is the perfect gameplay cycle. You start with nothing, build up your base, gear up your dwarves, and hunt for map secrets until you finally find the portal to a new world. Every new world brings fresh challenges, and I never get tired of starting the process over. As a gameplay experience, it is a fantastic investment. The Greedy Reality However, I have to be honest: the DLC system feels like a slap in the face. Most of the content in the DLCs feels like it was stripped away from the base game just to be sold separately. It makes the studio look incredibly greedy. It’s hard to give a "perfect" score to a game that tries to "nickel and dime" its players at every turn. Final Verdict If you enjoy management, crafting, and tower defense, you will love this game. It is deep, fun, and highly replayable. But DO NOT buy this at full price. Wait for a deep sale where you can get the "complete" experience without feeling like you've been robbed. Score: 6.5/10 — I love the dwarves, but I hate the price tag.

I like the game. What I DONT like is that the dwarves don't protect their base! Maybe instead "Costumes", Fix the fact that the dwarves don't protect their base unless I click on attack. Maybe fix the portal, they will not use it. That has been going on for a year already. I have completed the tree countless times yet I can't get them to use that portal to go to the next stage. I love this game, been playing it for a few years now. I would love to see it fixed and working correctly.

The game is beautiful, fun, and offers a lot of content. It had been my 'comforting' game for about 10 years. I have poured over 2k hours into it but haven't even seen everything (like some biomes or game modes). And I don't know any other game quite like this, so it definitely has unique value to me. BUT here is a fair warning! Bugs, inconsistencies, obscurities - there is plenty of that, too. You might not feel it if you play occasional hour here and there. But if you go long and deep (which the game encourages you to do), chances are you'll be dissapointed, especially when trying new content. Players had been whining and cursing for years upon years, begging the devs to fix things. No use! To be fair, they do fix something here and there, occasionally. But in the end, the devs are obviously focused on making more buck from new DLCs, not on squashing bugs or improving AI. Therefore they just keep creating more beautiful content to sell. That new content, of course, brings new bugs, inconsistencies and obscurities on top of the old ones! As a result, I found myself rejecting those new DLCs, because less content in this case means less bugs. The choice is yours, but I think the basic game (and maybe 2 or 3 of older DLCs) is worth a try.

Yea, It's a pretty good Craft to Survive type game. Venture out, chop and dig, return to base, fortify and defend.
