It was OK. A friend and I finished in ~2 hours. One puzzle broke, and the game crashed once. Issues: * The player movement is _off_ somehow. It's quite hard to quantify. In particular, when crouching/uncrouching there's no interpolation of the vision as you translate between the two perspectives: your view "teleports" to the crouch position. It's quite jarring. * It's very awkward to place something on the floor; the item typically drops in an unexpected location (not near the centre of screen) and does so with a degree of momentum. We somehow lost the pestle for chapter 3, with it presumably rolling under something. * The dialog sound always plays at max volume, regardless of UI settings. It was incredibly loud vs the other game sound. Dropping-objects sometimes also played very loud impact noises, but not always. Puzzle criticisms (mild spoiler): * The Chapter 1 bookcases feature numbers that have colours. Their colour is never used. This acted as a red-herring for the nearby Music puzzle that also features similar colours. * The music puzzle requires some external knowledge; you must either know that a quaver is an eight-note, or know the total length of notes in a bar in 4/4. While this knowledge is common, it's hardly universal. * The Chapter 1 Map puzzle (linking the journey on the note to pin placements on the board) I still don't quite understand. Some things seem trivial to match to locations, but we brute-forced the location of the Anchor. All that said, it was an OK experience for the cost, with some original puzzles. I bought it at USD $7.

The game itself is quite enjoyable, but the real goal is dropping as many mandrakes on the ground as possible. I have not laughed as hard as i did tonight in a long time. With each pick up is more cries from the little goofs. Completely consuming the floor until they start falling through the ceiling and making the screen glitch. Even after I no longer was picking them up my screen still showed as if i was still dropping them. Trust me, and you will not regret it.
