160+ hours played I honestly think Cursed Companions is one of the most underrated co-op games out there. The game is built around communication. You defeat monsters by speaking the correct phrases, everyone gets cursed words they must avoid saying, and many mechanics depend on what your team says. It creates some of the funniest and most chaotic moments I've had in a multiplayer game. There's plenty of content: three Acts with different bosses, Challenge Mode, Endless Mode for those who enjoy pushing themselves, and Traitor Mode (up to 16 players), which gives strong Among Us vibes. Normal runs support up to 8 players, and that's where the game shines. Solo is still fun for achievement hunting, but playing with friends is a completely different experience. One of the biggest reasons I've spent over 160 hours here is the developers. They're incredibly active, respond quickly, fix bugs, and genuinely listen to community feedback. The official Discord is also great for reporting issues, suggesting features, getting achievement help, or simply finding teammates. The game isn't perfect. Since maps are procedurally generated, you'll occasionally find a bug, and voice recognition can be tricky if English isn't your first language (I have a strong Slavic accent myself). However, both problems have workarounds, and the developers improve the game constantly. If public lobbies seem empty, don't assume the game is dead. Many people play in private groups, and the Discord is the easiest place to find others. You can also play across regions without noticeable lag. I'm not even a horror game fan, but this game got me into the genre. There are monsters and tension, but it isn't filled with cheap jump scares, making it a great entry point for players like me. This is a small indie game made by a passionate team, and it has huge potential. At full price it's already worth it, and with the current 30% discount, it's an easy recommendation. Bring a few friends, give it a chance, and don't let this hidden gem disappear.

My friends play REPO and Content Warning. So, cursed Companions fits right into our favourite genres. I honestly like it more because there is less spawn chance and more skill involved. Which you pick up quickly. You have to die and learn but hey, they give you skins/costumes for that lol Funny, chaotic and just fun to learn and play.

Fun game to play with friends, I recommend playing it a night time as it matches the setting of this game. One thing I would fix is the speech detection as it doesn't detect accurately even when i’m speaking clearly and loud into the mic. Cant wait to see what updates we’ll get in the future

Friggen hilarious friendslop game. If you've got a group of buds you play stuff like R.E.P.O., RV There Yet, PEAK and have a blast then this is right up y'alls alley. If you have issues with Microphone games or voice recognition though it's not for you until you get that fixed otherwise you've got a game with at least a nights worth of entertainment for you and for $10 a friend that's cheaper than goin to the pub or movie theatre nowadays lol so why not give it a shot? If you don't have friends and are a solo player though I will say I don't have any experience playing in that environment so I can't comment as to how alive/dead the game is in Public/PUG lobbies, and with my experiences in other games voice chat I can't say I'd be willing to take the chance with a pickup group but your mileage may vary! So basically if you've ever wanted to have anyone listening to you play without any context of what you're playing or doing, such as your parents or roommates this is also your jam. There's no experience quite like repeatedly yelling "You're not my Type" and "Mommy Loves You!!!" and finishing a round and going to the kitchen and making awkward eye contact with whomever heard you while you drink your glass of water and not explaining at all as you go back to your room close the door and start yelling "I GOT YOUR BACK".

This game is so much fun with friends. The TRAITOR mode is probably my favorite out of all of the modes. Great to see all the new maps and monsters and the devs actually listen to suggestions in the discord. This is definitely my favorite Friendslop game out of all of them and wish it got more attention.
