Choose one of a few available characters with varying abilities. Fight through elevated rooftops procedurally built out of interconnected hexagonal tiles filled with destructible obstacles. Pick up scraps to buy upgrades or merge at the workbench. Win mildly interesting boss fights at each tower and move on to the next. Most levels lead to one or two others with a defined theme, such as grenades or lasers, that dictate the type of opposition you'll face next. Some levels feature more unique elements such as a hacking console that must be defended or daemons that promise a future upgrade in exchange for a temporary debuff. Automatically unlock new gear via earned XP over multiple runs.       Pretty cool unity project, glad to see something that isn't unreal nowadays. looks like a fun time for a lan coop. Wish the dash was following movement direction, not aiming input! can't wait to try it more

      Enjoyable little indie shooter that I'm genuinely kind of surprised has received this much love and refinement from the devs with such a low price and player count, though I guess playercounts in a predominantly singleplayer title don't tell the full story. It feels SO much better to play than it did when I first bought it, and even then I'd say it was an enjoyable experience, so it's only gotten better. Word of warning, if you want co-op, you NEED to have at least one person with a controller handy as you'll be using Steam Remote play for the networking. I'd say this kinda counts as "B-game", but I mean that in the most loving way possible. It's clear a lot of heart went into making this, and the developers are very nice people. There's a lot to love here and it's more than worth checking out at a paltry $5 USD. It's not as polished as something like Gungeon or Risk of Rain, but it's still a great time regardless.
