The game is great, it could use some love on the ui/ux but overall is good. Late game can be tricky, the abyssal eyes are the center of your build and can be complicated to craft. Don't hesitate to automate a setup to farm, it grealty helped me in the end. I did crash when leaving the game at couple of time, no impact but strange.
Leaving a review early on with my initial impressions. As a fan of PoE and ARPGs this game blends both PoE and roguelites perfectly. I see my self investing hours into this game and I can see that with not even a hour into the game yet. I'll update this review once I put in more time.
Surprisingly good, great to stall with in between different arpgs. You got 4 days to kill before a league launch? Boot it up. When it comes to the core talents, or in other words ascendancies/big class defining points, some feel massively stronger than others. For example, warrior has one that gives flat physical damage to melee skills equal to 25% of maximum life, that thing scales infinitely. Then we have let's say archer were all 3 picks for first core talent can basically be crafted on an item in the late endgame, nowhere close to the infinite warrior core talent. I'd say the two clearly strongest core talents by a mile is warriors life stuff, and assassins poison talents, maybe mages double mana cost for nova but yeah, many of the picks are really lacking since they are not unique, you can get 80% of the value from them as mods on engame items. You can get some cool items with drop only modifiers, so you have something to grind for, basically more multiplier mods instead of the usual %increase. It feels like it falls a tiny bit short, maybe 1 more step of progression would make it really satisfying, or 2 steps, and it would be great, but you sort of just win really really hard quite fast and then just grind for the love of the game. There is an infinite abyss where you go for highscores, and you get a skin after 10 000 000 score so I guess that is the "goal". There is a hard mode as well, so I guess you can play that for more challenge. There are a couple of different builds that got me itching to try them, knocked out life stacking on the first playthrough and now I'm going for some mana stacking. I'll be giving the poison stuff a spin as well later, if it works like I think it does then it might be bonkers.
