Although I like the idea of the game there is currently nothing to do. Combat is janky as all hell, there is barely any resources, npcs or wild creatures for such a big map. Apparently some quests become available after you've grown 5 different types of dragon. All you do is breed for better genes and raise a new baby. Everyone ends up clustered in the same areas and its just a sit and wait to grow to adulthood.

I enjoy this game a LOT, very fun and neat concept but i do NOT advise playing it and expecting alot during this stage. PVP is mostly just get ganged on clans and PVE is simply nesting and growing out dragons at the moment, plus some of the mechanics like rec's get really annoying during nesting since the lack of broodwatchers. Otherwise, i enjoy this game! If i have to say so myself, i wouldnt suggest it at all during this stage despite how much i enjoy it. I also love the dragon designs! Some people may say its unoriginal, yes, but to me, thats what i like! Its like playing AS the dragon in standard fantasy games within a natural environment or dragons that closely resemble others, which i personally don't have a problem with! I always wanted to fly around and survive as a fury in a unique, large map and habitat with other dragons adapted to that region. Also i dont suggest buying it cause jao has major issues and backpedals on stuff often.

I have some mixed feelings of this game. I started playing when it was in legacy, early access. with 2 base dragons and 1 DLC. it was a fine game concept for something that was a work in progress, and having the DLC be the one dragon in the roster that can't fly made sense to me. However, with the newer updates and dragons that are being added, more and more of them are DLC exclusive. Hell, there's a dragon that only people who were there for the kick-starter can use. they've since made an NPC that'll give you a free egg of that dragon, but the statement sill stands for the DLC dragons. it's a flawed system if you have to rely on the generosity of people who have the DLC in order to play the full game. I like the graphics and dragon designs, and it has the make of a great survival game. but outside of surviving, there's not much to really do. The game has a huge aspect of waiting, and not much to fill the time players are waiting. waiting for dragons to grow, snappers or scraps to spawn. waiting for eggs because that also takes time. while I can appreciate the waiting aspect in a game about growing a dragon, keeping it fed and watered as it grows, and all that. there isn't much to do while that wait is happening. it leaves something to be desired. something to want to do. it leaves that level of entertainment entirely up to its players, which can be a detriment when no one else is online. plus the devs seemed to remove the thornback bugs and their mounds in the big update, which sucked because they were a pretty decent food source. there are even some spots that I think a few thornback mounds could go. thornbacks diversified hunting in legacy, and I already miss the them. however adding snappers does add a risk that wasn't present before. I'm still excited to see the sandslayer worm release. hunting snappers is something that makes different areas of the map exciting becuase of the risk factor. Outside of that it makes a pretty good afk game, where you just sit for hours tabbed out, only tabbing back in every 5 minutes or so to water and feed your dragon while waiting to elder or something. oustide of that tho, this game is basically a survival game where the only thing you can work toward is better blood stats, skins, and not dying. it's sorely lacking in stuff to do outside of basic survival, and the base game only seems to only have a slight majority to all the content in the game, with 3 base dragons, 1 kick-starter exclusive dragon, and 2 DLC exclusive dragons. I do think the finished game will be fun, despite not really agreeing with how the devs are going about it. I hold hope that the game will bounce back somehow, but until then, it peaked in legacy. (I will make an effort to edit this as the game changes with updates)

I'm gonna start off by saying, I LOVE THIS GAME. However, there is one thing I greatly dislike about it The player base: Everyone and their mama are playing this game and they treat this game like its their WHOLE damn personality and life. Its a pixelated dragon game, its not that deep. And its sad, I am always seeing the chat clog with arguments are people belittling or bullying others. Disgusting. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it all. So just to give you an insight into what you'll put up with, yes every game has its drama. But this.. This game is probably #1 in my honest opinion. If you play please be kinder, you have no idea what the person on the other end is dealing with.

Theres not a ton to do in this game, just basic survival. Eating, drinking, running around. Though, general experience of flying, socializing with players, nesting other players and raising them up to be adults, hunting, and other things are genuinely fun. I recommend this game to anyone who has some spare money in hand, as this game can be fun at times, though other times it can be boring, though as updates roll in it's becoming more and more interesting. Keep updated in the development if you're waiting to buy it ^^
