Great game, would highly recommend especially for the price. Real fun FPS Roguelike Cyperpunk themed game. The elemental weapons add an extra layer of loadout making. One gripe is in the 3rd stage there's these enemies that out heal your damage so you cant kill the extra dudes to kill the healers.
Probably best casual FPS rougelite I've played so far. Gameplay loop is addictive and amazing. The modification and upgrades system is super fun and engaging and the whole game is just screaming fun. I think one of the most underrated rougelites aroud. P.S. I don't know how I played it only 27 hours on it (I got all the upgrades and I finished a run multiple time) but OK.
What if Roboquest was Cyberpunk and it was freaking awesome Edit (after 100%): 100%ed the game now and honestly was really impressed. I really REALLY love action fps roguelikes/lites and this is one of the better ones I've played, up there with Roboquest for me. I really like how the gadgets and shell upgrades work and I find it a very unique experience in terms of how the player gets more powerful. Although some gadgets and upgrades are very basic, as a whole, they help make the game feel fluid, and give a lot of weight to ability usage, as well as giving a lot of options for build variety and playstyle expression. Same thing with the weapon upgrades, for the most part they are genuinely really interesting and can completely change how the weapons feel and I really love it. Before I ramble about what I dislike, I really like this game and if you're a roguelike enthusiast like myself definitely give this one ago. However if you're like me and want to get 200+ fps on every game I'd be weary because this game kinda runs like hot ass for what it is. Apart from that solid 8/10 game My only real criticisms for the game revolve around some of the enemy designs and with the general scaling. I will confidently say I am generally very good at games such as this, I certainly have a lot of transferable skills from other roguelikes such as Roboquest that have similar gameplay. And although I found the harder levels of Roboquest a blast, I found that this games hardest difficulty just feels like ♥♥♥♥. I get that healing overall should never be a crutch and it you should always feel punished for being hit. But difficulty 3 in this game is just an over-scaled ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I'm yet to do a run on diff 3 where it actually feels like I am rewarded for my builds and mechanical ability, but rather I just hit a jackpot with gadgets and upgrades that are a tad over-tuned (particularly money shot and basically every shell upgrade that refreshes a mark ability). It could be a skill issue, but I honestly don't know if I am going to want to get all the weapon skins and ♥♥♥♥, due to me not really enjoying diff 3.
