On a technical level, it is a disaster that is hard to excuse, and its attempt to be both a prequel and a sequel, comedy and tragedy, all at once keeps slipping out of focus. Yet that clumsy mix feels like the series' own strange mood, so the whole thing plays like one long, odd epilogue to a very peculiar life. Well... just do yourself a favor and don't buy it at full price.

Easy recommend for fans of the first if you're not done with FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan. It's still not a perfect game but hey at least this one runs on PC with zero crashes and minimal bugs (in my playthrough at least). The characters are more entertaining, the soundtrack is stronger as a whole, and the gameplay is smoother. It's still stupid easy combat-wise along with the bosses but you don't play Deadly Premonition for the combat despite wishing it was better. I also think the main story is not as good as the first but it's still entertaining and adds more depth with the alternating flashbacks and present day. Insane final chapter though. I hope you get to see it.

incredible game to push on through, writing and characters do all the heavy lifting of what would otherwise be an abysmal game. It's worth going through once if you're a fan o David Lynch abstract worlds

on the urge of yes and no game, barely yes but close to no. the game itself story a bit decent but the execution and the script writing kinda meh. so many useless dialogue and cutscene. only purchase when discount 90-100%, DONT EVER BUY ON FULL PRICE. good God i got this game on 1.5$

DISCLAIMER: This is a full review, and NOT a first impressions review PLEASE NOTE: I recommended this game with some exceptions, overall if the game did not live up to just a tiny expectation, I would not have recommended it at all, so please read the review carefully if you are thinking of buying/playing this game Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is a game developed by Toy Box Inc. and White Owls Inc. and published by Rising Star Games and is the sequel to Deadly Premonition I have played the original game on GOG and although it is super clunky and is more frustrating than fun, I still somehow felt engrossed in its weird story and characters, the same somewhat applies with its sequel The game has some okay environments and the graphics are okay-ish too, although it has some horrendous textures here and there, but its okay all the same Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise overall, however, is a fun-ish game to play, and it does get boring if being played for a long time, but is a good to okay action adventure game and to play in short bursts! RECOMMENDED :) REVIEW SOURCES: [*] None
