My advice for playing DELTARUNE: First, the Golden Rule. I'd heavily recommend not looking up ANYTHING about the game, until you feel that you've finished all of the content. This is a game that's best experienced blind, and spoilers will ruin your experience. This includes the review section you're currently browsing. Finish reading this, then start playing the game. Play slowly, and don't immediately rush to finish the chapters. There's optional content in every chapter, including scenes and dialogue. These are very enjoyable, but you can just as easily miss out/skip them accidentally. Examine the environment around you, and talk to every character you come across. They usually have insightful dialogue, and you'll miss out on a lot if you're not curious! Those NPCs aren't just standing around, y'know? Lastly, have fun! I'd personally recommend playing a single chapter every few days, which gives you time to process about the events that just occurred -- and maybe even a bit of theorizing about what comes next! Take it at your own pace, and enjoy Toby Fox's masterpiece!

The nonlinear approach to the gameplay is fantastic, and I love the character building introduced here.
