This game is great only because the original game was great. However, this remake is glitchy and I mean GLITCHY. Graphical errors, cutscene errors, audio errors, and the game can crash in the middle of missions which is just plain annoying. I recommend the game but only if it's on sale or something.
I really enjoyed playing this DAH2 again, I played the originals and then the remake of the first game before this and I really enjoyed that they used the original music and voice lines, the controls are definitely a bit better than the first remake, though I also gave controller a try in this game and also struggled (probably because I got used to the PS2 controls). Anyways, recommend this if you're a fan of the originals or if you like the humor, my only complaint is that I had some annoying frame drops in every level after Bay City, I was using Ultra settings as I did with the first game (with no real issues there), however even when lowering graphics settings I didn't get any improvements to performance, I think it may be an Unreal Engine issue of sorts as I've had issues with UE games before. I had severe frame drops until I capped my frame rate to 40fps and I was able to stay steady at 40fps using ultra settings, I'm unsure if it's an optimization issue, but it wasn't an issue for me after playing the PS2 games with their lower resolutions and 30 fps. Either way on ultra the game looked great and played fine once I got that settled
