Went in thinking it would be a short, artsy, one-shot walking simulator but it ended up being an actual full experience. If you don't have the patience for bare bones turn based combat then it might not be for you but I found it meditative. The whole game is a meditation and one to revisit as well! Easily worth the price.

A surrealist Dungeon Crawler reminiscent of LSD dream simulator and absurdist RPG maker games of the late 00s early 2010s. Come for the weird visuals, weird characters, exploration of Buddhist themes and great soundtrack. Just be prepared for some very RPGM style combat.

The world of disillusion is something ... well, special in it's own right. You have to be a certain kind of person with a specific mindset to enjoy this game, I feel like. This is a game that would likely hit those who have dreams or maybe even lucid dreams when they go to sleep with the levels of absurdism that match up with the way dreams feel in the moments they are happening, or rather when you allow your unconscious mind to wander when watching a strange video or falling down a rabbit hole - it's such a fever dream of an experience during it's game play and choice of dialog. It's a game where the specific type of person would want to play it two, maybe even three times to find everything as there's quite a bit that's hidden that you won't come across your first play through. It's nice to stumble upon media like this because it's unique and different, something that I just never feel when I see new games that come out from larger companies, it's always these rare gems that give me a memorable experience, and unsettle me in oddly comforting ways. I recommend this to anyone who is different, maybe even lost.
