I'm a big fan of Adizzpro's W.I.C.S.O (What if Civilization Started Over) series and have been making my own Wicso projects with free photo editing software. However this game has really reignited my inspiration to do that again but on Doodle Empires because the random cards give a sense of randomness and surprise to the storylines. I also like that it forces you to name every country even though sometimes it makes me split an atom because it makes me put more thought into this world and history I'm building. I also like the groups function for creating alliances, faith for religions and origin for cultures/ethnicities because of the same point of forcing me to come up with this part of the world and not procrastinating and forgetting that countries exist. Now speaking of forgetting countries exist and the randomness point from earlier, I ALWAYS use the random country selector in-game to chose who does what because it 1, adds the randomness factor, causing me to create stories all over the world and 2, it stops me from forgetting that countries exist and makes me not favorite certain places. The random cards and country selector is like how Adizzpro, when he does WICSO has the audience and comments to guide where he goes with the story but him and I both have control of what happens because I can always cancel or back out and hose what direction to go in. *sigh* And I can barely get 1 sentence an hour for a school essay Anyway, Tantan I'd recommend adding a timeline bar/layer, where you can go back every turn and it displays that on the map. And also you should add an ideology function with the leaders, which could change different things like making you expand faster but also having a higher chance of rebellion or vice versa. Oh and also a colonizer feature which could get you better at expanding in territory disconnected from the mainland or maybe your better at attacking tribes, OR the opposite, a tribe option which makes you better at attacking nation, it could be like barbarians or something. OH AN ALSO you could add puppet states which could make it so whenever the owner country expands they expand more and can expand their puppet on the master's turn, and also the puppet cant attack the owner. ANOTHER THING you could add actual wars, like you could make it work like a group and also could have it's own layer and maybe nations at war could not attack anyone else or something, not entirely sure how this one works.
