Very strong early access start and it already feels like Dysmantle 2.0. There are some problems that must be fixed though: 1. Sort button: How can we have big stash and inventory, but no sort? 2. Quick Stash button: Why do we have to click on every item to move it to stash? 3. Empty progression levels: Lot of empty areas between copper and brozne, where no skills are changing any gameplay and we are stuck waiting for map to get us to first mineable tin ore. 4. Multiple Enemies: Combat is not made for that, so why are we spammed by them. 3 boars or 3 shied enemies are just bad idea. It leads to constant shield block = no stamina. 5. Precission movement: We need some way to use mouse for some difficult puzzle jumps, not just keyboard keys because they are not precise. Look at No Rest for the Wicked how they solved it amazingly. 6. Empty locations: It seems there are lot of empty locations, without even treasure to dig up.

This review is based on the first 1-hour impression - Movement feels a lot smoother compared to Dysmantled. I can't quite explain why. Being able to jump is DEFINITELY a factor. The character generally feels more responsive. - It runs smooth as hell. Constant 165fps+ on high on a RTX 3070TI, no significant fps drops yet. - The world and the new gameplay mechanics, like the new crafting system, are extremely inviting from the start. - The tutorial is integrated into the main game and takes like 2 minutes and its kinda cool. - As usual, you can store all your stuff into your chest and craft from there from anywhere. - So far there is a nice balance between exploring and grinding. You dont have everything at hand all the time, yet gathering nessecary materials feels satisfying and reasonably short. What you need is typically around, without much of a search. Obviously its gonna get grindier over time, but i am glad you dont have to spend the majority of the time looking for stuff at the beginning of the game. - You can build your own campfire/other base structures anywhere you want. No more desperate search or googling for the closest campfire! Dysplaced, so far, is exactly what I wanted from a continuation of Dysmantled. It feels like a more refined version. Almost every change I noticed, I thought "Oh this feels much better". If you liked the first game, I am sure will likely enjoy this one aswell.

Absolutely love it; it's Dysmantle++. Can't wait to see any improvements they do. One flaw: drop the AI voices. It was fun in the first game when they were so bad but these are just gross.

[Early Access] The game has its roots in Dysmantle which is a very good thing. I'm about an hour in and the game is a worthy successor to Dysmantle. Pros: Runs great on the Steam Deck. The game runs on a full 3D world now, unlike in Dysmantle where it's all in a single plane. This also means having a jump button now. QoL and accessibility are always great. Cons: I miss the emojis in dialog, as well as the item sprites when they're dropped on the floor.
