Eh... controls are a bit floaty and the damn spells are so overcomplicated that I decided to only use the 2 most straightforward ones and still had no clue of why they activated at random moments. Also I finished the game before I knew you can equip items and upgrade them. The art is beautiful and reminded me of vanillaware games.
Quite cheap and fun. Very chill and dynamic 2D sidescrolling action/slasher. Do not let screenshots and looks to fool you - this is NOT a metroidvania, nor it is an RPG. Combat is fun and fluid, multiple kinds of counter attacks and combos allow for fun various styled playthroughs. Bosses grant items that amplify certain playstyles. Game is also packing 2 completely different campaigns with different characters that have also very distinct combat styles. You have to get a separate save slot for each. After reaching NG+ you also can fight bosses and unlock their rewards across campaigns. There's also quite a bit of optional content that doesn't give rewards or achievments, but offers interesting new bosses that you don't meet during both of the campaigns.
