This game is fantastic, however its also an insane reminder of how totaled AAA games are. How is it possible that these people can produce such an amazing game but companies worth billions can not even come close to the quality and passion these people can produce. Thank the stars that there are still stalwart people out here raging against the dying of passion. Art will endure.

It's like they took everything fun about movement in a game and mixed it with everything fun about shooting in a game and cut out all of the boring filler crap and now we just have these incredible vibes to scoot and shoot around to

I fired my RPG, chucked my grappling hook at the rocket, careened across the map, killed a guy by doing a kickflip off his skull as I reentered the atmosphere, blew up a mech by bonking it with a pickaxe, then no-scoped a guy off his hoverboard in slow-mo while doing a backflip off said exploding mech. This is one minute of gameplay in Echo Point Nova. THE ENTIRE GAME IS CRAZY FUN SHENANIGANS LIKE THIS.

It's strange recommending a game I didn't personally enjoy, I can see the fun underneath my lack of ability to keep up with the game. My issue stems from being terrible at aiming while moving at high speeds, I enjoyed severed steel because of the gratuitous amount of slow-mo you got to use, whereas Echo Point Nova wants you to earn slo-mo by moving faster. Somewhere in the mix of trying to aim/move fast I just flail like a fish. I blame it on getting old, I'll possibly repurchase at a later date when I've smoked enough copium to believe I have a young mans reflexes again. Edit: Thanks for all the positive feedback y'all.
