The game is a trip and while being a "walking simulator" with dotted puzzles here and there - the artistic value of this game to me is through the roof. Absolutely loved the sound design, ambience and the overall aesthetics. For a few hours it took me to a different place and burned itself into my memory. I'm not quite sure I understood all of it and I like that the game leaves most things down to your own interpretation rather than loading it with cheap exposition. It is clear the team wanted to evoke different emotions and I believe they succeeded in that. Please keep doing what you're doing because I'll be there for it.

Whoever made this game is not mentally well.. ..and the experience is all the better because of it.

If you are expecting a game in a traditional sense you will not find it here. It plays like a slightly more involved first person visual narrative experience. I do understand as to why some of the players find that disappointing however in my own experience with the game it doesn't warrant a negative review. The 3.5 hours I spent in the game while in the grand scheme of things is short I feel as though this game will stick in my mind for years to come. It is a vivid hallucinatory comforting nightmare. It is hauntingly beautiful. There is a reason this won the Swedish Game Award for Best Audio. The games ambiance is otherworldly and roots itself in your mind as your explore each level and set. The soundtrack composed by Hudson Bikichky is a contender for one of my favorite game soundtracks of all time. The game is a true walking simulator with a few puzzles here and there that isn't scared to unnerve you with it's themes but in the end it left me tearing up as the soundtrack and visuals enveloped me.

The demo was alright but after that I completely forgot about the game and when it came out I had some time spent just reading the reviews. And oh Lord how terrible it felt to see that people were bored by "tediously slow" gameplay when you just walk in a walking simulator. At first, I thought people just expected a plot and some actions like in Mouthwashing (I think many people know this publisher because of this game, though I may be wrong) and didn't understand that i was the point of walking simulators to be a bit "boring" sometimes. WELL, IT REALLY IS TERRIBLY BORING. Though ambience and sounds were great, the picture (depite the fact that my eyes started to flow out after the first hour) looked interesting with all the backgrounds, the animations were one of my favorites among many games like that but... there was one ridiculuous issue - why the hell did you put so many dead-ends where a player expects to see a secret or some details but in fact there's literally nothing, just a wall. Of course, I am not going to slander the developers but it seems to me that soon all these indie-games will become as slow as possible in order to make people complete it without having ablity to refund. P.S. They inscreased movespeed, I just checked it out and it felt much better. Sadly I had to finish that red keys segment without this buff. It's great that developers listen to people and correct the game a little bit to make it look more appealing.
