Overall, I highly recommend the game. I am really enjoying the game. As others have pointed out, it is a cross between Planet Crafter and Satisfactory. (I have played both for 100's of hours.) What I like about Eden Crafters, is that I get my automation / factory building fix without having to create spreadsheets. Sometimes, after a long day at work, I do not have the mental energy for Satisfactory and Eden Crafters is perfect at these times. Complex and challenging enough whilst not overdoing it. I have had no crashes; it is very stable. There are only 4, relatively minor, issues I have: 1. I would like a "Save as" function so that I may name my saves in a meaningful way. There is the option to do a backup; however, it gives it the exact same name so, you end up with multiple saves with no additional data displayed to help you choose the one you want. 2. Conveyor belts and pipes are painful to lay out. 3. When placing a second building (e.g. a refiner next to miner) there is no guidance as to whether you have lined them up correctly. 4. I would like the ability to upgrade a V1 structure to a V2 structure in place, rather than having to disassemble the first and then build the second.

If Satisfactory and The Planet Crafter had a generic, incredibly janky baby. About the only unique thing here is deformable terrain but it isn't well implemented or even terribly relevant to gameplay. The music is limited and generic but matches the game appropriately. The graphics are generic and utilitarian, though slightly better than Planet Crafter. There is a diverse build/craft tree but the tutorial does a poor job explaining the game to the player and several things (such as many unlocks requiring you to build an item once) are not well explained, and can cause the player to miss important and vital logistical portions of the game. Vehicle usage, especially movement, is very rough and glitchy, and building clean looking production lines is currently very, very difficult. But if you notice I am still recommending this generic pile of jank. Why? Because it's enjoyable enough for what it is if you like the genre, style, and approach. It just has a long way to go before it becomes something unique or special. Here's hoping future development can improve on the solid foundation, and bring forward some original ideas along with better implementations of the ones already contained within.

6/14/2025: All the videos out there are going to tell you that this game is a rip off of other games. But it really is not, the graphics are open source and the game itself is unique. Yes, it shares similarities with other games and has some new innovations. But if you have played as many survival/terraforming/factory games I have played then yes there will be great interest here. Good luck pioneers!

Take 2 parts Satisfactory (Can substitute Astro Colony or another first person factory flavored game), Mix in an equal amount of Planet Crafter and mix well. Bake until Deformable Terrain appears and then cut the finished product into multiple selectable planets.

I'm a huge fan of Planet Crafter and Satisfactory, and this game really finds a great mix between the two. I very much like the dynamics of connecting the conveyor belts, and that you don't get too many "cant build this" red errors. The game gets quite intricate and challenging when you get to the advanced buildings. I really love the ability to use the Spaceships and Vehicles. My only request for the spaceship would be to add an "autopilot" function where you could point to a location on the map and the spaceship would fly there directly. All in all, a SUPER FUN great game, that I greatly enjoy!
