For anyone just starting out, a tip that helped me a ton: there’s an option to turn off prep time before opening the restaurant. It gives you a chance to get your crops harvested, ingredients prepped, and everything organized before customers start rolling in. Early game, when you don’t have any hired help, it makes managing the restaurant much less stressful. This game ended up being exactly what I was looking for. I’ve always loved the farming and cooking aspects of Stardew Valley, but I wanted something where I could actually turn those meals into a business and see the profits from all that work. Watching the whole process come together—from growing ingredients to serving dishes in the restaurant—was incredibly satisfying. My only real wish is that there was more exploration. Once your farm gets established, there’s not much reason to leave it, and I found myself spending almost all of my time there. It would be nice to have more areas to discover or activities outside the farm to keep the world feeling a little bigger. I also wouldn’t mind having a bit more farm space. That said, the limited space does add to the challenge since you have to decide what’s actually worth growing and what gives you the best return for the room it takes up. Overall, I had a great time with it. It definitely scratched the farm-to-table management itch I didn’t realize I had. I finished everything the game currently has to offer in about 26 hours, although I should probably mention that I ran my farm like a corporation and optimized the life out of it. Looking forward to seeing what gets added during Early Access.

As someone who appreciated local and seasonal dining, Farm to Table is a refreshing take that offers a bit of everything. This game is true to its name. You live off the land to the fullest. You grow and harvest everything. You forage and fish. You care for your animals and use their produce in your dishes. This game gives you so much freedom. You buy and tend your land. Build and completely customize your restaurant and farm layout. You discover new recipes and curate your menu. You prep, cook and serve. The gameplay loop is satisfying without feeling too repetitive. There is never a dull moment. The art is really adorable and there seems to be decent variation in the building and decorating mode. The customers are vibrant and quirky. The world is vast and I love how none of it appears empty but alive with people, animals and vegetation. The tutorial is very well done and eases you into everything at a reasonable pace. There are options for upgrades and expansion. I honestly can't believe this is an EA product. It doesn't play nor look like it, which makes me very optimistic for future updates. There are little glitches here and there but nothing ground breaking. I barely even notice them and they don't interrupt gameplay. I can't wait to see the finished product and what my restaurant can grow into. For the price, you can't go wrong. This game has a lot to offer. Players can dabble in cooking, foraging, farming, fishing, building, decorating and store management. Multiplayer is also in the works. This is a small team endeavor so kudos, this is one of the most polished EA games I have had the pleasure to play.

As a chef IRL i have to say there are some things in this game are a breath of fresh air. Even for early access this game has a lot of quality of life to it. The research tree is nice, and the cooking isnt overly convoluted. The game makes you think how to manage your money and what to put on your menu/grow but it's in a constructive way. Honestly the inventory management is close enough to the real thing with menu management that it is teaches you how to grasp the basics. 10/10 recommend! my only real complaints is the building, overlapping and snapping of walls/flooring should both happen and be easier but that is honestly such an easy fix and it doesnt really detract from the experience

This game is developed by one person and just released on early access yesterday. I've only scratched the surface so far but I am thoroughly enjoying this cozy game. It has elements of farming, building, restaurant management, staffing, and a research tree that ties into the game really well.
