There were a few game mechanics that I think could have been done better to make the game more enjoyable, but that could just be me being nit-picky so please take these "critiques" with a grain of salt. 1) Whenever I picked up a map fragment/note/recipe, they would go to my inventory. In order to activate them I would have to equip them to my hot bar and then use them. I found that to be time consuming and a waste of inventory space. Overall, it was a lot of unnecessary steps when It would've easier to just have those items be activated as soon as I picked them up. 2) I found the dodge ability unusable, at least in my play through. The fact that it has a cool-down period and a stamina requirement made it very hard to use, especially against highly mobile enemies like Kgingness. I only used it to flee from smaller enemies and even then most of the time I would be stun locked or get stuck behind a tree/rock/snow mound. I feel like it would be more viable If there was no cool-down period for dodging. 3) The day/night cycle for the game was really fast. Having 1 real life minute = 1 in game hour for my character made it hard to gather resources to prepare for the night, especially for those first few in game days. 4) There was no real tutorial at the beginning of the game, which means I missed out on a lot of stuff early on. For example, I didn't realize that you could activate tower boosts or break pots/boxes/log stacks with a sword which would have made gathering resources earlier in the game easier. I also didn't know about the town teleporters that made it possible to fast travel until I got to the third or fourth boss. 5) There are no indicators on items or in the inventory on how "high" of a stack they can be, and the stacking number is inconsistent for a lot of items. For example logs and rocks can be stacked to 10, but sticks can be stacked to 25 and iron or can be stacked to 30. So as I was collecting resources, my inventory would get full really quickly, and I would have to drop a lot of items. I think having a fraction of some sort (the number of items you have/the number of items you can have in a stack) over the items would make it easier to figure out what you need to pick up. Again, these are things that I think could be tidied up to make the game more enjoyable - that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the game! I was wonderfully surprised how large the map was for the game, which made exploring and gaining experience by slaying monsters fun. The music was very relaxing and catchy, and often I would find myself humming along with it. I like how the bosses are very different from each other and require different strategies to defeat them, which made each fight an exciting challenge.

This is a nice little game to play during Winter holidays. Hopefully, your enthusiasm will be just enough to finish it within a couple of days as it gets boring pretty soon. Feel the Snow could benefit a lot from more content and QoL updates but unfortunately this won't happen, so we are stuck with vast and empty territories, useless monsters and lack of interesting recipes. Still, delivers fun time for a few evenings.

imagine a sequel with more npc's and quests, hats you can actually wear, four biomes for the four seasons, possibility of making two-story houses, more meal options, more skill perks. So yeah, I love this game, just wish there was more of it.

While this game has a unique charm, many elements feel quite underdeveloped. Development on this game ended too early, even playing for a few hours there were many clear features that would have only served to uplift the game.

This is a difficult game to recommend. It's a pretty mediocre and shallow survival game, with a pretty mediocre and shallow storyline. But, I some fun with it (ignoring the frustration of some bosses and mechanics). It has really interesting ideas, and the world is fun to explore. With updates this could be a really good game... unfortunately, the devs abandoned it after an unfinished full release. All that potential of improving has vanished. 5/10, get it on a sale if you want
