Ambiguous Amphibian played it on his youtube channel, so I gave it a shot. Super simple, but fun.

I really like this game. It is an obvious cousin of Tower Wizard and Gnorp Apologue. I'm not sure the relationship of the developers or producers, but it has the same look and feel. Of these three this is the best one by a longshot. Brcause the buildings get destroyed, it slows down the escalation of economy required to keep things in check. No need to have Peons cost 1.4Qa or anything like that. The cloud popping gives you something productive to do if you find yourself waiting on a purchase. You acquire upgrade points faster than you can even spend them. They did a great job balancing everything so waiting for resources is rare.

I've read some mean comments about the this game and I completely disagree. The game is very simplistic and very complex at the same time. There multiple strategies to beat the game and, yes. You will probably replay for the good ending, but that's by design, I don't see how anyone can complain about it. There is like 5-6 different strategies to build your base. There is not a single thing I did not like about this experience. One of the most enjoyable 8 hours 4 bucks (on discount) ever bought me.

Great little micro clicker/idler. Very satisfying loops and mechanics with very satisfying visual feedbacks. I noticed some said it's a Gnorps clone. No. It's not. Not even close. So do not go in thinking it's that. It's its own thing, and it's a good thing. It does also have some replayability to try out the different synergies and what "tech" to focus on. EDIT: The dev is also very active, having fixed bugs and added features and QoL in record time. Especially appreciate adding Endless mode. While there currently isn't any achievements or real point to endless, it's simply fun maxing out stuff. HOWEVER, there is ONE major issue, and that is that you have to completely restart the game to get the other ending. This apparently is intended by the developer, but no one, EVER IN THE HISTORY OF GAMING, likes to be forced to COMPLETELY restart a game without new content just to get a tiny different ending. I hope this gets patched out very very soon. This is heavily discussed in the Discussion thread and NO ONE likes that part. That said, I still recommend it. One of the best micro clicker/idlers I've played, and I've played a LOT.

Despite being short, it is a very simple, addictive and enjoyable game, only thing I would personally prefer to be added is a new game+ option that allows the permanent tree upgrades to persist, otherwise 10/10
