This is the very first entry into the Flowers saga, told from quite the shy and reserved schoolar, occuring during spring. While one may think of ordinary public school, It's about a unique and very extraordinary type of school, at least to me and many others who don't have such experiences. The entry introduces pretty much the entire cast that's gonna remain present even in the later entries, so skipping this one and heading for the other seasons is highly discouraged, as not only will that cause the reader to feel left behind, but even the developments of the characters' personalities stop making much of a sense. While the novel gives off a fairly lightweight theme at first, it does dive quite deep and it's gonna be a tough cookie to go through, all the more difficult the more empathetic the reader is. That said, there's no reason to not give this one a try as it truly is one of the exceptional novels out there with a unique and at times playful plot, as well as natural developments. Nothing over here feels forced, everything's connected and it does make sense. - In case there'd be the question, it does hint at the romantic elements and getting attached to each other, but that's the usual as even classmates do get somewhat closer to each other upon seein' each other at school ín day to day activities, right? The novel is also fully voice acted with quite polished Japanese, making it easier to understand and the voice actings are so memorable that it won't even take long to know figure out who's talking before reading the text.. I've had it like that, at least.. So, yeah. The entry is crucial to the Flowers sequels later on, and to many remains the best or one of the best, quite likely because the characters do feel so natural and relatable at times that it eases up the reading and makes it a bliss. Now, what I haven't mentioned yet..- The soundtrack is exceptionally peaceful. The overwhelming majority are going to be instrumental tracks that are easy to listen to, later on all the more emotional the more the reader gets into the story.. It will fit at the scenes, the atmosphere will be greatly affected by them, that's for sure. The artworks are also sorta unique.. While it's nothing as the modern novels' digital arts with tonsa lights and vibrant colors, everything does belong here where it is and where it shall remain. Whether I'd recommend it. That's one of the parts you as reading this review might be looking for.. -> I'd most definitely recommend this novel to people who're looking for some relaxing experiences that are just perfect to burn through the time without having anything to worry about. The soundtrack, along with some of the easily understood jokes that do appear in the text and overall atmosphere truly provides for very special experiences, and that is regardless of the reader's experiences with novels, I think.. .. However.. -> I wouldn't recommend the novel to readers who are looking for some action; To readers who are looking for some novel that's easily read through without getting into it, and just as easily going into another one. That this novel can't do and doesn't seem to be written this way. Whenever I've taken my time to read through the novel, which was only once if I'm not mistaken.. I do recall getting quite emotional at it. There's that bit of me that expects or takes crying while reading through any of the Flowers saga as absolutely inevitable and to be expected. It is so well written.. Not long, not short, but at the perfect length! But what I must mention is that the novel requires an additional font to fix some of the text mistakes that'd appear for those who don't have it. That's it from me, Happy reading!

Cute and gay yuri but I will say this is awful at being a puzzle/mystery game, there's only one puzzle I thought was reasonably possible to solve using the information provided in game, all the others I had to look up because they require very specific knowledge or in one case, are just worded incorrectly so you can't logic out the right answer.

Typical innocent grey making an entirely linear story then filling it with dozens of literally pointless choices, has a few extremely abrubt bad endings, nice art, lovely music, ending better get explained in next game

The first of four absolutely gorgeous yuri visual novels focusing on the seasonal experiences of selection of young high school ladies. Set in spring, we commence with introverted Suoh as the protagonist who seeks to find a true friend in the missionary boarding school. Suoh, an avid reader, also proves to be quite the detective as the story unfolds. Artwork and music are outstanding. An exemplary story not to be missed.

Shy girl goes to missionary school for girls only and becomes a lesbian. This is the best visual novel ever made There are well written characters, interesting plot, good music and beautiful artwork. But only two endings, second route can only be unlocked after completing the first route. So difficult to play without a guide and choices you make often have no effect on anything It's not a masterpiece, but for this price it's a very good and long novel with voiceovers. I recommend buy even without discount
