The game has a really unique way to play. You collect random items and use them to build your own dreamy garden, but the interesting part is you do not get to choose what you unlock. Everything is random, so you have to work with what you get, which actually makes it more creative. You end up designing around unexpected items and that can lead to some really interesting layouts. You can rotate and place objects freely and even stack them to create more detailed scenes. You can also change the lighting and weather, which makes your garden feel more alive. Highly recommended if you enjoy cozy, creative games and just want something calm to play!

Why you should or should not play Garden Galaxy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0fKcjmDLXw What is Garden Galaxy? Garden Galaxy is a top down view game where you trade a little pot spirit coins for land and decorations. The more you trade the more you get for your beautiful garden, the more visitors will visit the more coins you get! Quick Pros ✔ Gambling ✔ Strong visual style ✔ High replayability ✔ Easy to learn controls ✔ Addictive gameplay loop Quick Cons ✘ Looks like developers no longer update the game ✘ Can get repetitive Initial Thoughts: -"My Garden currently looks like I am a hoarder." -"I love the little rainbow visitors- I like their coins even more." -"OH MY GOD IS THAT A TORTOISE?!" Beginner Player Friendly? This game is very easy to understand and is definetly beginner player friendly. The controls are easy, WASD to move around your island and clicking and dragging to move things around. The tutorial explains what everything does and what you need to know to continue to grow your garden. This game is definetly family friendly. Game Play: The gameplay is quite simple and enjoyable. Its also quite addictive. Its a trading game, you trade to get more land and expand your little island, the nice thing is you can play things almost anywhere. I really also enjoy the gambling aspect and the other little cute features in the game like the items you can use to change the atmousphere. My garden has grown since I started playing and I have even been going as far as to make little hill/mountan looking biomes. Graphics: The graphics are simple yet cute, I enjoy the simplicity because its a pleasent change from the graphics you usually see in more intense games. I enjoy the sound track as well, however it could put even the most restless baby to rest if you left it playing for to long. Community: Even though the community is quite small there are a few long play videos on youtube you can find of people playing the game at their own pace. The steam community enjoys doing pixel art using this game which is very impressive. From what I have seen so far everyone seems friendly and supportive. How long can you play? So far I have played nearly 24 hours and have not yet completed all the objectives of the game, which may be due to me enjoying gambling. However, there really is no time limit to a game where you can use your creative mind to create anything you want. My Opinion: In my opinion this game is very enjoyable if you are looking for a fun game to play while you watch movies or listen to music. I enjoy chatting with my friends while I grow and expand my garden, I think this game is meant for you if you enjoy gardening and games like the sims because of how much creative freedom you have. Overall Review ★ 7.5/10 - Such an interesting game where you can make any kind of garden you want! ✘ Active Online Multiplayer (meaning people will interact with you in game) ✔ Family Friendly (meaning friendly to all ages) ✔ Solo Playability (meaning you can play by yourself if preferred) ✘ Cross Compatibility (meaning you can play with friends through other consoles.) ✘ In-App Purchases (meaning you can buy things after buying the game i.e DLC's) ✘ Controller Compatible (meaning you can play this game with a controller) Enjoyed this review? the design and playloop of this game are charming. just chill to the nice gentle music and build your space. there's ways to control the RNG to a degree which is a very nice QOL aspect, as is the collection journal the only negative won't affect most people, but if you have hand pain then it is based around clicking and dragging. a toggle grab would be appreciated

Pretty damn awesome, it does almost everything you would want a game like this to do. But not longer updated by the dev. Understandable, but this is such an underrated gem and it's a game that would benefit so much from some extra content, QoL additions and workshop support. A paid DLC would be entirely fair.
