It's a game about riding a bike along deserted roads while having idle conversations with a maid catgirl and cooking good-looking food. The gameplay is bare minimal here, it's best to approach this as a visual novel with a bit of interactivity as flavor. You progress dialogue by driving and select conversation topics by cooking specific meals or visiting certain places. While it's nice to sit back and take in the scenery while reading, it does get irksome sometimes when you hit a lull where you're waiting to find the right food ingredients to progress the story. I'd say if the premise and aesthetic speak to you and you don't mind a game that's primarily reading, give it a shot. The dialogue is fun and introspective and the world it paints is somber yet intriguing.

Extremely chill game, really loving it. Exactly what I wanted. - Music is cozy and very good. - The girl's dialogues are interesting. - Very interesting vibe. - Cooking is simple so far, only two ingredients. But I saw we will unlock more utensil during gameplay. - Wish there was voice acting, hope they add it at some point. Some tips I wish I knew before playing: - You can turn around with the bike, useful for picking items you missed during auto drive. - You can turn left and right and enter other roads, I thought it would be a straight line during the whole game, lol. - Adjust the text speed and auto-scroll speed to match your reading speed. If you stop the bike the text stops the auto-scrool.

GIRLS MADE PUDDING is an elegiac game about two girls wandering along empty roads. Driving advances the conversations, and cooking from ingredients unlocks new topics. That gives a little something to do besides reading, but doesn't feel too distracting. The game runs smooth on intel xe graphics alone at high setting - no idea why requirements list a hefty graphics card.

If you're a connoisseur of the niche genre of 'cute girls at the end of the world' (such as Girls Last Tour), I think you would enjoy this game regardless of what I'm about to write, and you would definitely get your money's worth(adjusted for developing countries). If you're here for the food (if not skip this paragraph), I'll make a relatable comparison to other game you probably played. Do you remember the cooking part of Final Fantasy XV? It's not too dissimilar from that. If you think the cooking mechanics in FFXV is too simple, then you wont be impressed by this one. +++pros+++ 1. The game is basically a Visual Novel with a novelty gameplay mechanics. And I'm happy to say that the writing and dialogs are Indeed (not only) the cream of the crop. 2. While I'm not someone who's sophisticated nor educated on the art of music and intrument, I would say that the music is VERY good. Although one weird thing is that you get more music on the ingame music player than from the BGM DLC. 3. I think it's needless to say that the the artworks and graphics itself is gorgeous (as you see in the screenshots, but it would be very unfair of me to not list it among the positives). 4. The length of the game is perfect in my opinion. It's not too short to leave loose ends, but also not too long the gameplay to overstayed it's welcome. (At the time of writing, it took me 5.7 hours to get the true ending) 5. Legal loli and cat maid. ---cons--- 1. The gameplay itself is pretty repetitive and overstayed it's welcome briefly before you'd manage to get the true ending, but i'd say the novelty made up for it. 2. At the time of writing there's a few bugs, and some of them are game breaking (but not save breaking) I'm afraid, but I can count them with one hand, and the auto save feature is very well implemented. 3. There is also a few of misstrantslation, but i guess these are inevitable in this kind of game, but unfortunately there's one at a very critical point in the game which can (and will) break your immersion. 4. The game took some effort to explain the lore of disappearance, and the science behind it made me think "really now...". But if you can tolerate the unexplained cat girls, then I'm sure you can exercise your suspension of disbelief. 5. There's no unlockables CG, so what you see on steam page is pretty much all of the assets regarding artwork. But if you manage to get the true ending, there's something very special waiting for you. I figured all of the CG budget probably went there. 10/10 VERY recommended I must say, when I bought this game I was thinking "shit, another impulsive purchasing because of catgirls", but now I'm sad how I can't read this for the first time again, it was better than most of the book I read this year. I remember when I got the bad ending, I went to bed (because it was 2AM), and then I have a nightmare of this game and woke up with teary eyes. It's a good game. Hope this review helps you to make an informed decision whether or not to purchase and played this game.

After the schadenfreude that was One Ice Latte With Your Breast Milk Please where no such beverage was actually served. I'm pleasantly surprised to see that in Girls Made Pudding that pudding was actually made, by girls even. That aside, the gameplay is pretty much non-existent. But if the story of two girls traveling around on a bike in search of pudding ingredients—set in a world where people vanish when no one is watching them sounds interesting, I'd recommend it. The story is interesting enough that I'm invested enough to find out what's at the end of the road for the 2 girls. The music is pretty chill too The only thing that can make it better is if the pudding was made out of bre........
