I bought this game, because it reminded me a little bit of 'Girls last Tour' and after playing it it has a very similar vibe. Two cute young girls on a journey through a world, where everybody else seems to have disappeared. I loved the mechanic where cooking different meals with the ingredients you scavange from buildings and/or roadside events, unlocks more and more of the story. It is a perfect little and relaxing game for the Steam Deck and even if you want to keep going for one more day to seee what's going on, you can easily squeeze in a little bit of gameplay on a commute or a break. Allthough the preset of the story is more on the sad side, the interaction between the two girls are nice and funny as well and I'm really glad I took the journey with them.

So it's a VN with extra steps. It looks like a comfy post-apocalyptic road story, but there's surprisingly little focus on that angle. At its core is a sci-fi mystery with a dark and tragic heart, with the music and visuals contributing to a contemplative atmosphere. It's also yuri?

GIRLS MADE PUDDING is an elegiac game about two girls wandering along empty roads. Driving advances the conversations, and cooking from ingredients unlocks new topics. That gives a little something to do besides reading, but doesn't feel too distracting. The game runs smooth on intel xe graphics alone at high setting - no idea why requirements list a hefty graphics card.

After the schadenfreude that was One Ice Latte With Your Breast Milk Please where no such beverage was actually served. I'm pleasantly surprised to see that in Girls Made Pudding that pudding was actually made, by girls even. That aside, the gameplay is pretty much non-existent. But if the story of two girls traveling around on a bike in search of pudding ingredients—set in a world where people vanish when no one is watching them sounds interesting, I'd recommend it. The story is interesting enough that I'm invested enough to find out what's at the end of the road for the 2 girls. The music is pretty chill too The only thing that can make it better is if the pudding was made out of bre........
