One of the best adaptations of the SCP universe I've ever seen. Captures the spirit of the genre to a T and leaves you wanting more.

This game is a SCP walking simulator that took me just over 4 hours to finish. The game starts off amazing, with a sense of adventure and purpose, an exciting mystery to solve! But... then it eventually goes off the rails into a generic nonsensical mess during the second half of the game. + The game's graphics are beautiful in some sections, especially the outdoors. + There is one long driving sequence that is actually really well made, I would say its the best part of the game. + There are a couple of puzzles near the end of the game that are super original and mind bending, very creative. - The game advertises itself as a horror game, but it is not. The main picture for the game on Steam is a bloody bucket with very creepy bloody arms stretching out of it. However the game is super light on the horror and doesn't really have any gore in the game except for that one scene. - The story is so convoluted that I didn't really invest in any of the characters and I felt no real emotions going through the game. The last half of the game is just one weird nonsensical (story wise) puzzle after another. It all just felt like filler to make the game longer. These puzzles were not connected to the story and were just basic puzzles that we have all seen 100x in other games in this genre. Example: Aiming lasers to rotating mirrors etc... - In order to figure out the story you will probably have to search the forums, the story is not explained fully in the game properly. - The game's ending is abrupt and I didn't enjoy it. - The whole game feels a bit shallow. The developer tries hard with strong emotional music often to bring out a "Grand Experience!!"... but the core game itself is flat and doesn't excel in anything or bring anything new to the table. - The game is priced high for what you get, wait for a deep sale. Again, the game starts off promising, but completely falls apart in the second half. Overall: 6.5 / 10

This is by far the best SCP game in existence, and a solidly tight little horror-puzzle experience even if you don't know any SCP lore. If you do however, you are in for a treat. The story really handles SCP well, and the game understands that the strength of SCP isn't "entities" that chase you down hallways based on whether they hate being looked at or hate not being looked at. The best parts of SCP horror writing are the strange and weird, existential dread, psychological horror, and the anomalous - which this game delivers on. You won't see one-note neck-snapping statues or shy guys in this game, but you will see a great deal of the more obscure and delightful entries. This game nails it on other aspects too - the music is chilling and ominous when it needs to be, and the atmosphere is perfect. The graphics are serviceable and there are several very cool visuals and set pieces. The voice acting from the main character is excellent, and the supporting cast is mostly up to snuff. Puzzles are clever, if not overly difficult. This is not a long game, my play through took around 3 hours - but I felt like it was as long as it needed to be, and I really enjoyed the ending - though it was a bit abrupt (stay till after the credits - but you didn't need me to tell you that, did you?) All in all, if you have read a ton of the SCP wiki and want to see some of the more intelligent writing represented in game form, and you're sick of every SCP game being about the murder monsters - this game is for you and you should buy it immediately. If you haven't really delved into SCP lore and are just a fan of horror or puzzle game I would wait to buy this one on sale due to the short length.

I was hella hyped for this game despite not knowing anything about SCP, and all in all I gotta say that the game did hit the spot for me! It's more of a thriller than straight up horror, but that does work in the game's favour. The gameplay loop starts off straightforward as you would expect for a horror-themed game, and there are multiple new mechanics unlocked as the game progresses. Graphically it looks good, but the more important thing is that it runs smooth as butter at max settings with no upscaling (an underappreciated aspect, given how used we are to laggy AAA games nowadays), and the art style shines the most in the game's ethereal and otherworldly sections - there are some seriously stunning abstract scenes. The music and the voice acting deserves a mention as they ranged from good to even spectacular. Frank was my favourite character and he was there for like 5 minutes! Being realistic, this is a game done by a pretty small team and all in all is very much worth the $20 price tag. The only negatives that I can think of is that there are some visual bugs from time to time and some jank here and there - but nothing too egregious that would unimmerse you from the experience. 3D animations are unfortunately lacking at times, but again, not much you can do about that when the studio is tiny. When all's said and done, the game is a lot of fun, the setting is engaging, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. Horror fans should feel right at home with it.

Absolutely amazing! I enjoyed this game so much in every aspect: atmosphere, gameplay, graphics, puzzles, and story. The immersion is impressive from the very beginning. It makes you think you'll play your usual horror game in a haunted house, but it keeps surprising you with unexpected twists. It feels so smoothie, just like an AAA game. You even have 20 minutes of NFS-style driving experience. I think this is the first game I’ve had nothing to complain about! I absolutely recommend it—you HAVE to meet Frank, he's the best!
