Very good gladiator management simulator, it's like if you took Domina's management systems and mixed it with Swords and Sandals' turn-based combat.

It's like Swords and Sandals with less personality and less combat feedback, I had some fun with it until I decided to go play Swords and Sandals 2 again, and then just didn't feel the need to keep playing this. If it costs a dollar it could be fun but I personally wouldn't be bothered to buy to at full price. If I could give games a "neutral" review instead of getting boxed into a recommended or not recommended category, this would get the neutral rating.

A good and fun game that needs more work to streamline some of the more tedious parts. I plan on finishing the game but there is excess downtime in the game that feels out of place. On it's face you technically manage the gladiators but the management aspect is fairly lite. I would like to see that part fleshed out more so instead of HAVING to do every fight manually (for the most part) I could make those automatic and spend more time doing the managing part if I decided to. My strongest gladiator is the one I actually care about...all the others are there just to make me money. Maybe not the intended method of people playing the game but I wouldnt be surprised if that is generally how it's done. The arena parts are fun enough to trial and error what works best against the different enemies you will fight against. I do wish there was a way to respec a gladiator as for better or worse you do get attached to them. So if you mess one up you either have to deal with it or sell them and try again.

If you like your games complex and difficult this isn't for you. If you like it fun and simple this is excellent. And for a good price, it's pretty cheap for what you get.
