play gorn 1 if you want more content, the game itself is fine but with just 3 hours worth of content outside of its endless mode its kinda disappointing.

It's alright. Tries to be a bit more deliberate and less easy than Gorn 1, but it overall just feels more janky and less satisfying. A lot of the level gimmicks are pretty fun, and there's definitely more variety on display here than the original, which I think makes up for the moment-to-moment gameplay being worse. My biggest problem is that it's painfully unfunny and just filled to the brim with the same joke over and over again. One of the villains also strayed unfortunately close to being a bad gay stereotype. Still, decent enough VR game that I think is worth the 20 bucks. Solid 7/10.

so i have 100% the first game and have several hours on it, well past the 100% mark. in this, i have done the whole first arena, 2 levels of the second, and the first level of the third and i have both good and bad comments/opinions. first off, if you liked the first game, this one is just as fun and i still recommend it, although it is quite a bit harder but thats due to some of the stuff im about to mention. some differences from the first game that i dont really like: first, parrying is different and feels wonky. i havent gotten the hang of it and i dont understand it. much more difficult to do than the first game. second, hitboxes are super wonky. if an enemy swings, they can hit you from several feet away despite their weapon not even being close to you. this is my biggest issue as it makes the game much harder and feels unfair. also it makes parrying way too risky, and with parrying being much harder, its just not worth going for one in my opinion. some positive changes: when you get hit, the timer doesnt get shorter every time. i believe its also way longer, so its much more generous in this game. combat. combat isnt much different, but it feels better. some changes that i like and both dont like is you cant stab hearts out with the sword (dislike), and stabbing enemies in the heart doesnt instakill unless you use a spear (from my knowledge right now. it feels like killing enemies is supposed to be more difficult, which i do like. you cant chop their head in two as easily as the first game.) two handed weapons feel MUCH better to use in this game, especially the spear. right now its my favorite weapon. weapons can be reverse gripped and arrows can actually be picked up, added to your bow, or used to stab. this was really cool cuz its something i wanted in the first game so having it now is super fun, even if it isnt too viable, but if you have no otrher weapons nearby it can be better than dropping the bow to use your fists. reverse grip lowkey doesnt change much but its neat that you can do that and its fun. the dialogue is just as good as the first game if not funnier. overall i rate the game 8/10. really fun, like it a lot like the first game, just some stuff that make it a little annoying to play. edit: i have now finished the game. i have a few other things to say. i must correct myself with the sword comment, yes you can still use it to stab hearts out of people. imo the final stage of the first game was much better than the final stage of this game. the final stage of this game just felt the exact same as the rest of the stages. ie, fight 3 waves, fight boss, thats it. nothing super flashy or cool. game was still really fun and i still do recommend it. i think i would rather play the first games custom arena though, over this one, as i still prefer the first games combat a bit more.

Peak game Had to change the bindings on index controllers otherwise the game was basically unplayable though, kept pausing since its bound to the trackpad. Easy fix at least, just keep it in mind if you do have index controllers

This is a very fun game! Almost more fun than the first GORN! Even the slicing mechanics are more realistic! Ps: The game has more humor :)
