This game is marketed as an cozy IDLE game. Meaning you just pop it up and leave it windowed while you do other things. The being said PRO: -adorable aesthetic, I love that you can pick up the gourds and customize them -easy to build little hamlets and lots of options for buildings and furniture considering the extremely low price -how the gourdlets interact with their environment is so cute to watch and worth creating a ton of different types of environments to see how they interact with it -cute soundtrack, and you can customize each buildings music and ambient sound of which there are a bunch to choose from CON: - THE GOURDLET TRAIN. tdlr in order to unlock more content you have to mature your gourdlets. In order to get more gourdlets you need to summon the gourdlet train. It brings a single gourdlet. My suggestions to fix the train: 1. Make it so that the player can choose if the train comes automatically. It takes the game away from annoying clicker to a truly idle experience. 2. Don't have the screen force recenter on the train every time it arrives. It pulls you away from whatever you were doing to watch a 10 second animation of the train dropping off a gourd, which gets old fast. Minus the train deal its a fun little city builder with a cute cozy concept at an amazing price.

This is such a cute indie game! If decorating is your favourite part of any video game, this game is just that and nothing else. No resource management, no fighting, no puzzles. The graphic are a super cute, pastel pixel art style, and the music is very calming. I would love to see more items, more customization options, and more complex terraforming mechanics introduced. The only downside to a game about decorating is that once you've explored all the ways to use and place items, you're left wanting more items and options. For example, I would love a way to customize the shape and size of buildings, and to make 3-D terrain, like hills and multi-story buildings. I would also love to be able to give gourds specific jobs that they do every day, like farming or tending a certain shop. The firefly creatures are cute, and I would love to see different types of cute creatures to hatch. Also, things like placing windows on walls can get buggy, with furniture sometimes appearing 'in front' of windows when viewing the inside of a building. I would love to see this fixed. I would also love to be able to place furniture in spots where there's windows or wall decorations, as I can't seem to do this currently. Overall, this is the perfect game to wind down after working, and I can't wait to unlock more!

This game is incredibly cute. It needs some tweaking (like things that clip) and some kind of activity for the creatures to do between them (like talk, fight, fell in love or something) but with some new assets every once in a while (like the update for halloween!) to keep it fresh I think this game is granted to last and feel like a go-to eye bleach. Amazing work.

I’m really enjoying the game concept and will finish my current game file and wait how the further developments go. With current item selection I don’t have a reason to start a new game file due to limited aesthetics choices. Right now the item types allow creation of a cute city, farm, suburbs and a forest. What I would love added to the game: 1. Color sliders for items instead of set color variants 2. Way to make patterns like in animal crossing. I would love this function because it’s mainly a decorating game and being able to create + share patterns would extend playability. It also would allow to restart multiple times with different aesthetics 3. People could mod in or the dev could expand the item array to not be confined to city/farm/suburbs/forest that we have available currently. We could have medieval buildings, castle pieces, Japanese style buildings, more garden decorations and flowers (making a huge garden would be so cool in this game!) 4. Diagonal rotation of items would allow for even more elaborate arrangements as well
