𝕋𝕙𝕖 π•€π•œπ•ͺ'𝕀 π•₯𝕙𝕖 π•π•šπ•žπ•šπ•₯ Granblue Fantasy Versus is one of the most accessible fighting games out there without sacrificing depth. But it's not ONLY a fighting game... No no... It's a culmination of different gaming genres, that take place in the very unpopular, and underrated world of Granblue Fantasy. Visually, the game is stunning. The anime art style looks incredible in motion, with beautifully animated characters and flashy super moves that never get old. Every fighter has a distinct personality and playstyle, which keeps the roster fun to experiment with. Even people unfamiliar with the Granblue universe can easily get attached to the cast. I'd go as far as to say this roster of characters is the most unique one I've seen so far, and I've played a lot of 2D fighters in my time (Pardon me if you read my Undernight 2 review... I thought then that fighting game rosters can't get any weirder than an evil momma that fights while wearing heels and a furry evening dress). The story is mostly about Gran and Lyria, both kids given great powers which makes them Skyfarers. They are tasked to fly from island to island to try to uncover archdemonic schemes and stop the universe from total annihilation... The usual stuff. The RPG mode is a nice extra, though it can feel repetitive after a while. Still, it offers more single-player content than most fighting games... With the ability to join quests with your friends. Quests are like these 2D beat'em stages with surprisingly a variety of level designs. Online play is solid, especially in later updates, and the soundtrack absolutely delivers during intense matches... But it's dead (you saw that coming lol) especially with the release of an updated money-grab version of this game as a standalone game, Versus is left hanging by a thread. All in all, Granblue Fantasy Versus succeeds because it balances simplicity and depth so well. It’s easy to pick up, difficult to master, and packed with style from start to finish. 9/10 experience.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a gorgeous anime fighter with super smooth animations and a beginner-friendly system. It’s easy to pick up but still has enough depth to keep you practicing combos and matchups. The RPG mode is a nice extra, though it can feel a bit grindy at times. Great entry point if you’re new to fighting games.

boot up the game met with end of service announcement 2 achievements will be unattainable after april 20th 2026 you need to do your ranked placements (5 cpu matches and 2 player matches) and win one online game in pvp after that date those 2 will be unattainable and if you dont have either of them you cant get the 100% achievement get to playing ranked before its over and help people get those two

Admittedly I don't know much about Granblue Fantasy. What I can tell you is that the art style here is fantastic. Controls and overall fighting feel well thought out. There is also a single player mode called 'RPG Mode'. The mode is relatively short and simple and is a nice addition when other fighting games don't have much beyond an Arcade mode and online matches for their offerings. My only complaint here is related to anyone who might want to also collect all the trophies. One of them is attached to finding/crafting a specific weapon. The weapon can be earned by playing through RPG Mode for a second time on hard difficulty and getting to the end for a specific mission for a specific material. The other way to obtain the weapon is to use the in game gacha system where you can roll for weapons. Other than that, the game is fun and easy to recommend if you can find it for $10>

If you mostly play single-player, this game is worth getting for the RPG mode. Even at full price, you will still get a lot of game for your money.
