This game is such a beautiful experience. There’s so much to love about it; the variety of possible outcomes and the absolutely amazing music (seriously, chef’s kiss). It even hit me on an emotional level, almost like it healed a part of my childhood. That’s rare for a game, and it really makes this one stand out. That said, it could’ve been even better if there was an option to choose your childhood friends. Being stuck with characters I didn’t like as friend options? Honestly, that was pretty annoying. It felt like I was wasting time, especially since friendships are such an important part of the game. A bit more freedom there would’ve made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Still, I loved the strategic side of things. Figuring out the "math" behind it all, planning ahead, and seeing how different choices shaped the outcomes? That was super satisfying. And while the variety of people you could meet wasn’t huge, it was enough for me. Each one had their own little story, which made the world feel somewhat rich and alive. Despite its flaws, this is still an experience I’d recommend. It’s heartfelt, thoughtful, and offers a surprising amount of depth that just pulls you in.

There's just something about the game that really hits for me. Not an emotional sort of hit so much as just, I adore the concept and execution. If you have ever played Chinese Parents, it is basically the same idea but in 80s/90s America. I do wish there was a way of just keeping a log of all of your previous characters though. Whilst it is nice too have your previous run become the parents of the following run, it would be nice to have a family tree showing who you had and where you ended up in each one.

Cute game! I enjoyed it. They shift out NPCs, so you're not seeing the same characters over and over. There's a lot of learning paths to explore. Very re-playable. My only critique is that I wish they got a little more creative with the futures you can obtain. Maybe I missed out, but the futures I got were limited to whatever highest education tier I reached. I was kind of hoping that if my character was strong in two knowledge paths that they might fuse into a unique career path. I didn't see that happening. I'll still recommend it, though.

A fun life sim with lovable side characters, the mini-games, the storyline, everything is designed very well. However, the game only plays through life from a baby to high school graduation, was a bit surprised because I was looking forward to playing through the character's life until they eventually die. That being said, it's still an enjoyable experience, and I'd recommend it to fans of the genre.
