I picked this up for $0.88 during a sale, and at that price it’s been excellent value. I’ve been playing it on a Steam Deck, and the hardware handled the game without any issues at all. It runs smoothly and feels well suited to handheld play. The drifting itself is fun and progression is satisfying early on, especially through career mode which is the fastest way to unlock a second car (I received a 2JZ Toyota 86 fairly quickly). That said, there are a few issues worth noting: Online player count confusion: The game often shows 1000+ players online, but I rarely see anyone actually drifting in servers. This is very different from the mobile version, where servers consistently feel active. Ad removal purchase feels unnecessary: The game prompts you to pay $2.99 USD to remove ads, but I never saw any external ads appear at all, so I wouldn’t recommend buying this. Account sync problems: I couldn’t log into my existing mobile account, which meant starting fresh after already spending hours progressing and buying cars there with real money. That was frustrating. Menu loading bug: Sometimes returning to the main menu causes it to partially load with no selectable options. The only fix is force closing the game. It’s happened around 10 times, especially when trying to quickly modify cars. Single player map purchases aren’t necessary: The game encourages buying maps for single player free play using in game currency but this isn’t really needed since all maps are already available in casual multiplayer, where you can still earn money drifting. Physics/map glitch: One of my cars clipped out of the map and hit 1490 km/h 😄 After that, even the reset button respawned it off the track. I had to reload the map entirely to fix it. Username setup is awkward: Steam credentials don’t automatically populate your username…. you need to create an in game account just to set a gamertag. Overall: Despite the bugs and account issues, it’s a really fun drifting game and absolutely worth it at a discounted price. It also runs great on Steam Deck, which made it easy to jump into quick sessions. Just be aware of the rough edges, especially around menus and account syncing.
