got it when 90% discount, spent about less than half a dollar. so dirt cheap, yet IT'S SO MUCH FUN! I have good collection of rally games like dirt 3, dirt 4, DR 1 & 2, and by far WRC 5 somehow defies all of them in terms of physics, handling, and enjoyness in rally racing. YES, this game is 10 years old but it doesn't take away the fun elements in this game. YES, it has bugs (10 years old and bugs like co-driver off pace notes and graphical bugs like stuttering sunrays still exists on medium-high graphics settings?) but it's not game breaking as long as you can cope with it. Trust me, it's doesn't break the fun in this. contents aren't that many. season pass and cars aren't that important to have. just cars included in the game and you'll be right to go. they're really good to drive. career mode i think is the best. you start off as JWRC driver with citroen ds3 max and of course at some point you will ranking up your way through WRC2 and WRC class, yes that's classic career mode.\ rally school system really teaches you how to drive. i'm using a DS4 since i don't have a proper sim rig but i swear the fun is still exist 100%. for those of you who are into sim rally, this game can give you a good amount of entertainment behind the wheel since the dose of simulation isn't that high. this is the perfect simcade for you to go to more serious rally sim like AC rally/DR 1 or 2. TL;DR if you want a good time killer rallying with controller/simwheel, go for this but wait for sale.

Having come from games like Dirt Rally and Richard Burns Rally, I must say that this game has the worst pace notes I've ever had to listen to. Co-driver keeps saying into/onto, which sounds a lot like left-2/right-2. In addition, they keep saying "for" before the corner (or maybe fore?) which sounds just like four. It adds nothing but confusion. This is the only game I've raced in where I need to read the pace notes on screen. There's a few other phrases that I haven't managed to translate from English into English, but I'm done trying at this point. I'm going to finish career mode and baleet this forever. Perhaps fivever. Still fun, buy it on sale.
